A friend suggested Dr. Kaniecki and it was a life-saver. He attempted an 8 hr process to relieve my two-week long migraine. When that didn't work he sent me to Presby for some tests. I had a spinal tap that made my headache immediately go away. He instantly knew what was wrong with me and started a new treatment process. Only spinal taps would relieve the headaches because I had pseudotumor cerebri, not migraines, and my body was making too much spinal fluid. He let me call him at all hours and would meet me in the hospital when possible to have the spinal tap done if after hrs. He let me come in atleast weekly if not more to get the spinal taps done even without an appointment. I highly recommend him and have several times to people I know. He is the best!

I had to endure 4 hours of testing for vertigo which is not fun and then I waited for another hour for him to see me. He was with me for 8 minutes. Yes you read that right!! EIGHT MINUTES! I have absolutely no complaints about the office staff and technicians. In fact I have praise for them, especially Tierney, Joe and Monica. They were lovely, gentle, patient, they explained everything about the tests. They were accommodating & supportive, knowledgeable and very professional. They were everything people who don't feel well would love to have at office appointments & in the hospital. Obviously I am not happy with my experience with Joseph Furman, MD PhD.

His testing technology for vestibular function and hearing is superior to other offices. I've visited similar doctors in Washington, DC, who pale in comparison. Dr. Furman was able to diagnose my condition in 1 day and get me into physical therapy that improved my quality of life. He even recommended me to other high-quality physicians for other medical problems that I was experiencing. Dr. Furman is caring and patient. He really listens.
