Fearing that we may have picked up a nail, a local resident recommended Hometown Auto Repair. As it turned out, she was so right. They attended to my car quickly. Inspected the tires and found no nails, but did find that the air presser was a little low in all tires. They brought the presser to the correct levels. There was no charge. Even the gratuity I offered was politely declined. I get to Baraboo twice a year. In the future, if I should ever have auto difficulties while there, I would not hesitate bringing my car to Hometown Auto Repair.

I gave her the receipt from that shop and she made a copy of it. To say that they were not initially aware of this is false. I also followed what my triple AAA representative recommended in this situation, and due to the circumstances surrounding the service with the prior shop, they recommended I be towed to the nearest Triple AAA approved shop - which was Blystone's. The very nice receptionist Yolanda did tell me that the shop is very busy and the diagnosis could take up to 2 weeks. It is the fact that after two weeks I was not told an update in timing, I was told to "TOW IT SOMEWHERE ELSE." That is a direct quote, not a dramatization. I was also asked why I didn't tow it back where it came from, afterwards. If Blystone's never intended to "get to it", they could've have been up front about that before my car sat there for two weeks. Busyness is not an excuse for poor communication. Being up front about this situation initially would've saved both of us the trouble. No excuses.

Questions are given the runaround and when we bring our car in for something, they'll say it's something else that needs work. A week later we had to bring it in for the original problem and it is miraculously found and needs to be fixed for an outrageous price. The cost ended up being so much for so little to be fixed that we literally are selling the car for scrap. Other mechanics agreed. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.

After meeting with him, test driving the car, and giving all information, we were told we would hear something back shortly. We waited around all afternoon on Friday. Finally got a response after just going in there and waiting. Couple pieces were broken on the vehicle, but they informed me that since they were not a Hyundai dealer, I would have to contact someone else to get replacement parts. The tire had a leak in it from a bent rim that the car had initially, and took some bickering for them to fix that at no charge. I used the wipers not even a week after I bought it, and they were ripped and crappy. Had to go purchase new ones. Don't get me wrong, I am in love with my car, but the service isn't quite up to par.
