I came in several times to look at the slabs and they were always very accommodating. The process could not have been any easier. Thank you!

The way the tiles are merchandised make it challenging to shop. The tiles are stacked in weird racks that are awkward to reach. I felt at times like I was handling my grandma's China and was scared to drop it. The wood grain porcelain offerings were off in a corner, and stacked close to each other. The lighting in the store needs a major improvement. I know they are going to open a new showroom, and so I hope they address this. Virginia Tile has a much, much better shopping experience. Their employees are designers, and the tiles are merchandised on large slide-out boards and in single panels that are easy to pull out and look at. And the lighting is good. In the end, I got samples from both places, and I ended up buying from Dal Tile because they had exactly what I was looking for. I do think Dal Tile has awesome slate floor offerings but they are weak on the wood grain porcelain tile. I definitely think it is worth shopping at both places! Someone needs to correct the opening time on the front door. It says 8am. When I tried the handle at 8:15am it was locked. So I walked over to the contractor's entrance and they said they don't open til 8:30am. I said that wasn't the time on the door and that I was there so turn on the showroom lights! Sheesh!

Once they installed and left, I started to look closely at the counters and noticed what looked to me like a large scratch. I immediately called them, and I mean immediately. They had been gone perhaps 10 minutes. I was yelled at over the phone that I didn't know what I was talking about...that those are natural fissures. I was also told I didn't understand that this thing came out of the side of a mountain and it would have natural inconsistencies. Well to me it didn't look like a natural occurrence...but they never addressed it with me. Extremely dismissive when I called, and nobody ever came to look at it even though they promised they would. Sight unseen they called it a fissure. Does it look like a fissure? I don't know...to ME it looks like a long scratch. But nobody ever came to inspect it. I'm actually writing this review now as I have had plenty of time to cool off and write with honestly and not let my anger fully invade my writing. Feel like I was treated very unprofessionally. What company argues with a client over the phone like that? Very rude.

Provided insight on stone selection, the expectations set around the process were spot on, their price beat 3 other fabricators, AND.... the installation is amazing. Normally when I check out at self-checkout, I simply scan or pull up my military discount account to receive my 10% discount. On this visit, I did not have my physical ID with me, so I went to customer service to ask if they could pull up my account using my phone number, which I have done successfully at multiple other Lowe's locations before. As soon as I approached customer service and explained the situation, Miss Donna immediately and very rudely told me that they could not help me and that I was not going to receive my 10% military discount because she could not verify my identity without my ID. When I explained that multiple other Lowe's locations have always been able to pull up my account without an issue, she responded by telling me that "not all Lowe's locations are the same" in a very rude and dismissive manner. Afterward, I went to the cashier, and the cashier was easily able to pull up my phone number and apply my military discount without verifying my ID. Once the transaction was completed, Miss Donna then went over and scolded the cashier for helping me. The entire interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand policies may vary from location to location, but there is still a respectful way to speak to customers, especially veterans simply trying to use a military discount account already on file. Someone higher up seriously needs to speak with Miss Donna regarding her attitude and the way she communicates with customers

Ohio Lowes shoppers Beware!!…read more Lowe's subcontracts their home home improvement projects to third-party companies that, in my experience, do not adequately respect property boundaries. During a fence installation for my neighbor, the subcontracted fencing company destroyed a garden bed on my property and damaged a handmade ceramic decorative item. This damage will require professional repair in the spring and replacement of the handmade item. Lowe's response was to offer $100, which is insufficient given the extent and cost of the damage. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and resolution. A major red flag should have been when this F-rated company removed several panels from my fence in order to connect the fence they were installing for my neighbor. That action alone showed a disregard for property lines and ownership.
