Fox Junk Removal was indispensible for our recent move - we couldn't have done it without them. We had less than 2 weeks to get everything out of our home - 18+ years of clutter and junk which had accumulated in corners, closets, and drawers - it was scary! I have never used a junk removal service, but there was no way we could have gotten rid of everything on our own, so I realized that I had no other choice.
The second to last day before we had to vacate (and after a scheduled charity had failed to show up to pick up tons of items), I started to call different junk removal companies. Some were able to provide estimates and/or services at the last minute, and some weren't, but I was undecided and running out of time. When I called the owner of Fox Junk Removal for an estimate, he clearly explained the size of his truck and his fees. He was able to come the same afternoon to see our piles in order to provide a more exact estimate. When he arrived, he was so friendly and straightforward, and his fees were so reasonable that I hired him on the spot. One thing I was truly relieved about - his company not only hauls to the dump, they also deliver reusable items to charities and other appropriate places, even plants! It made me feel so much better that everything wouldn't just be trashed. Eric spent a couple hours on his own right then and there loading an enormous amount of trash and odds and ends. After he left for the day, a huge chunk had been removed from our piles. He promised to return the next morning with extra help/another truck.
The following morning, Eric and his wife Linda came early, along with a third person. I have never seen a crew with such a light-hearted, pleasant attitude and diligent work ethic. Their teamwork was excellent. They were the model of the song, "Whistle While You Work" from Snow White - their enthusiasm really demonstrated how much they threw themselves into their work. I was particularly impressed by Linda, who, pound for pound, was amazingly strong. She must be the Bionic Woman's niece. The crew completely packed their truck, somehow squeezing every last item on board, and in a much shorter amount of time than I could have imagined. My friends and I had spent longer 2 days prior loading fewer items with more people! I honestly don't know how they got a couple of particular items onto the truck without a pneumatic lift, because those items were incredibly heavy. When they were done, the areas formerly covered by tons of junk were swept clean, and looked neater than they had in years! I am so grateful for this company and would recommend them to everyone I know. They really came through for me during an enormously stressful time. The next time I have any need for junk hauling, Fox will be my go-to company.
