I'm not sure if they're just really bad at their job, or if they just really don't care about the quality of their work, but if their C- BBB rating doesn't dissuade you from hiring them, then hopefully this will. I wish I had seen a review like this before giving them work. Yelp won't let me give them 0 stars, so I'll go with 1. Stay away. Edit: in his response to this review, Mike says that the tile was already missing, right? I'll add the screenshot from my texts with them where they literally admit to having the tile. This was not a problem for the painters, and they got started working right away. Every day for the next week the timeline was pushed back more and more until we had slept on an air mattress for nearly a week at our old apartment after moving our stuff into the garage. Vinyl flooring and carpet has half a dozen paint shoeprints and it is covered with paint splatters. I have spent 10 hours on my hands and knees lightly scraping the paint away with a razor blade and cleaning the floors. All the trim throughout the house is sloppy and needs to be repainted. Most hardware, including door handles and outlet covers need to be replaced due to the amount of paint on them. I have not yet been able to get the paint streaks on my windows and might end up replacing them down the road if I can't make progress. The paint in about half of the rooms of the house is beyond repair and needs to be completely repainted. After being passing our hard deadline by almost a full week and thousands of dollars being wasted, the house is in much worse shape than before these painters visited.

The company has shown itself to be unreliable and untrustworthy. - On 5/15/26 AMS Painting Customer Relations Team committed to processing a Full Refund of $1020 Painting Deposit, by Company Check, to address via Certified Mail, allow 14 Business Days for processing and delivery. - AMS/Adams painting deposit refund was due at the latest on 6/5/26, and no refund has been received to date - currently 54 days since their commitment and 32 days past the latest due date. - What led to this is: AMS/Adams missed 2 customer expected work start dates, failed to communicate in a timely manner to provide needed information and uphold confidence, thereby causing lost confidence and the request to terminate contract and refund painting deposit. - The reputation of a business hinges on customer care and the owner keeping their word to generate customer credibility and trust, and AMS/Adams has not kept his word. - This Senior Citizen/Veteran couple has been more than patient with AMS/Adams to refund the painting deposit, which should have been done immediately, and now appears will require legal action. - Consider our experience when you are shopping for a painting contractor - is this how you would expect to be treated?
