This review is not about the FRM store, it's about the merchandise, and I hope they send it to corporate. When will BR learn that women 5'2" and under do not want all of the string pulling for shotening sleeves and pants wide enough to hide an elephant are not what we need? I've finally found out why cotton is not being utilized in clothing much now, but the clothing details are all wrong for the petite woman styles. Such a shame, the styles make women in their 60's look older and they are not stylish either. Shift pull over linen dresses with no zippers would be washed and fluffed once then discareded, I suppose that is the plan. Such a shame. The recent linen jacket I bought the sleeves & colllar were so ugly, who would wear that? read more

This place was great! Not better than the mall of America but still very good! To start off, we got the service. I was looking for shoes and the two places I went the staff was amazing for being nice and helpful!! To note, the two places I went were the Sheen and the champs! Also, I went to the pizza place (I forgot the name) and the pizza was good while costing mid. Plus, the pizza took no time to cook and get! Amazing, a 10/10! Second, the selection. The selection for all the places I went to was perfect! With there being so many options, I didn't know what to get! Definitely amazing, 10/10! Finally, the value was great! The value of the place was on point. But, in my opinion, the shoes are a bit expensive. I was eyeing up one that looked 65$ and it turned out it was almost double at 120$! Great, but the value is fine. 7/10. Overall, If I could, I would give this place 4.5 stars. I can't, so it gets 5! Great job, but you can make some improvements to the stores! read more

A fully operational shopping mall in 2023, wow! In a time when the shopping mall concept is dying, this place is refreshing. Going to Scheels is a must. Specially if you don't have one by you (which is my case). I was there at opening time and it was pretty busy by noon on a Sunday. It's worth checking out! read more

This place is about 20 years old - it's starting to show its age, despite some recent renovations. The food court ("Northwoods Cafe") is now quite nice, with lots of seating and a variety of restaurants (though, the Taco Bell and Arby's franchises just pulled out). Parking is sometimes a bit of a hassle (especially in winter, when snow obscures parking lines), but nothing major. Anchor stores: Macy's, Sears, Target, JCPenney, Younkers, Scheels Sporting Goods, and, if you count it as an anchor, a new Ulta beauty just moved in a few months ago One of my favorite things about this mall (especially now that I'm East Coast-based and not much of an American Eagle/Forever 21/Aeropostale shopper): they've made a concerted effort to concentrate more of the 'upscale' brands into one wing - by Macy's. You can find Coach, Banana Republic, Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor, Pottery Barn, j jill, Chico's, Talbots, and Godiva in one wing. [But don't try to find anything more up-market than that...it doesn't exist in this mall.] Otherwise, just your run-of-the-mill suburban mall. Good selection. 180 stores inside, plus lots of kiosks. Lots of other stores in the outlying areas around the mall. read more

I love shopping! I've only been to the Fox River Mall a couple times but I feel it's pretty top notch. The mall itself was very clean and not busy on my most recent visit. I was there shopping during prime hours (4-7pm). All the major retailers have a store here, and the associates in all the stores I visited were cheerful and helpful. Yes, I would drive all the way from Milwaukee to Appleton to come shopping here. I felt that the stores were not overshopped and overwhelmed like many Milwaukee retailers. I found items in stores that I saw online and were not available in the Milwaukee stores. I will certainly return and recommend, especially if you are in the area and love shopping ;) read more

While FRM has some great stores, Sheels and Lululemon, Macy's, and Target, for example, it is just a typical mall and nothing special. There are plenty of empty store fronts and it is pretty dead during the week which I like because I am not a fan of malls in general but even less so during Covid. I guess if you are a fan of malls and need several stores in one place you would like FRM but beware of the parking lot, people don't follow the signs and there is a lot of traffic through the lot for some weird reason, considering the mall isn't very busy. read more

I don't understand why there are so many 3 and 4 star ratings on yelp for the mall especially given they all have positive things to say? I've been to several malls across the country and this is still one of my favorites. There have certainly been fancier malls but if you look at every review they say it's everything you can expect for a mall. There is any store I have ever wanted (including H&M) which just opened (yay!). The food court is nice, large, and clean with many options (for a mall food court). Plus if you are willing to venture out there are several options within a stone's throw of the mall. It's so nice to have this in the area given the fact that so many malls are dying off. I would definitely recommend the Fox River Mall. read more

Probably the best mall in the Fox Valley area. Bigger than Green Bay's which is nice. They have a pretty decent sized food court with a nice variety of options. Nice mix of stores as well. What's super surprising though is that they got rid of Auntie Anne's a few years ago. Sometimes that's all you want when you go to the mall, and there's nothing else that really comes close. read more

I really like this mall. It's big and has tons of shops with a little something for everyone. The best thing is that they have a Target inside the mall. It's like heaven. However, as we are up here visiting family, I wanted to take my kid to the play area (in the food court) and we only stayed for like 30 seconds. Look, I'm all about kids giving their immune systems a work out, but this place was fucking filthy. I mean, I didn't even feel comfortable letting my little walk around with just socks. It's just gross. They need to have someone come in and clean it. It looks like the last time they did was 1995. read more

I don't know what I was expecting to find at a mall in the Wisconsin. My boyfriend had led me to believe that the Midwest was super different than CA, but in reality, it's pretty similar. Granted the people here aren't as on top of the trends, but the basic trends are implemented here. And this mall is the place that helps out with that. Macy's, Abercrombie, Pottery Barn, Gap, Banana Republic, American Eagle, Victoria's Secret, Body Shop, Ann Taylor. A majority of the stores you would see in any other mall in a big city is pretty much here. The food court has a McDonalds, Panda Express, Orange Julius, and anything you may need to meet your mall food craving. I can shop anywhere and this mall is no exception. I didn't leave empty handed. read more

"Mall sprawl"=if it's not a term then it should become one because Fox River Mall personifies it. You have the sub-par mall and a bunch of crappy strip malls surrounding it so you HAVE TO DRIVE EVERYWHERE to do your shopping which totally defeats the purpose of having a mall in the first place. And there are no sidewalks or crosswalks connecting the mall with the satellite stores so have fun crossing the highway. How crappy is this mall? Target is one of their anchor stores. heh. And since going to the mall is about the only thing to do in Appleton it's that much more disappointing... read more

Okay, I love this mall! Shopping malls are a dying breed and they are bastions of my formative years. This one has fared pretty well and is well maintained. The clothing store options are pretty typical; Gap, A&F, Forever 21, Ann Taylor, etc. But the staff is friendly and it doesn't feel overcrowded even when it's packed! There is a kids' area in the food court that I am a fan of taking my kiddo to on the really cold or rainy days to let him run around with the other cabin fever children! read more

It's a mall. It has mall things. Food court, clothing stores, cell phone provider kiosks, a cookie place, that one kiosk that someone always will try to offer you lotion from. Overall a good selection of stores, personally I think better than the malls in Green Bay. read more

The Fox River Mall is a good mall if you like malls, department stores, and your typical named retail stores. I shop here once or twice a year because our town does not have these stores and makes Christmas shopping easier. It is clean, and the food court has a variety of places if you don't want to leave the mall. I also like the ample parking available. read more

I love this mall! Well, I grew up in the area, and before this mall was actually built, there really was nowhere to shop besides downtown. And now even downtown has been renovated. The mall has a great selection of shops and caters to many different consumers. Every year there's always a new store opening up. I do wish there would be a couple other stores to top it off, such as H & M, Charlotte Russe, Urban Outfitters, but its still a growing development. I wouldn't doubt that in the next few years, there would be another expansion. It is very easy to access, located by many hotels, so for travelers, its very convenient. There is a new trail that leads right up to the mall from a few of the hotels on Nicolet and Mall Drive. read more

I like this mall. They actually have a really good variety in the food court (two pizza places, Chinese, Japanese, tacos and sandwich places). The options for stores is good too as they offer your basics like Target all the way to the upscale Coach store. If you have some time to shop through the stores you can really find some outstanding deals and finds. read more

They say you can tell a lot about a community by its mall. I would agree. This mall is easy going, small, and inexpensive. Just like Appleton. If you're looking for Louis Vuitton and Prada, don't even go past the food court because you won't find it. They have the smallest JCPenny's I've ever seen! You literally walk in turn around and walk out. It is only one story and coming from a mall like Scottsdale Fashion Square in PHX...that's a big change. I found what I was looking for though so that is all that matters. This mall could definitely use some store upgrades though. read more

Far too many clothing stores, but that's just someone who doesn't care for buying clothes! The food court has many different options including tacos, chinese food, pizza, subs, burgers, and more. Lots of parking and plenty of places to sit and take a break. Vending machines in certain areas for drinks, and a photo booth in one of the hallways. read more

Mall Management has decided in their infinite wisdom to completely eliminate one element that drew families to the mall. A picture with Santa. If you want a picture with Santa, you'll be forced to buy their average, over priced hard copy. You will no longer be able to use your own camera. The Brainiac management didn't even consider charging people a dollar or two to take their own picture where the quality may be better and you retain a digital copy. The shopping selection in and of itself is decent, but dang...the traffic is atrocious (the mall, Wal mart, the airport, and a billion and one strip malls crammed into the same village. Nice planning, zoning). STAY OUT OF THIS PART OF TOWN for at least a month before school ends, and during all of November and December, unless you want to get rear ended or listen to screaming children...or both. read more

I find it hilarious that the negative reviews are all from people who don't live in Wisconsin. This mall is one of the best in the state. Yes, it may be showing its age a little, but it has basically everything shoppers would need in this area. I find this mall a lot better than, say, Bayshore Mall in Milwaukee. Most of the shops you can only get to by walking outside, which is obviously not the most convenient in the winter. I happen to frequent the mall quite often and I love it! read more

This is a really nice mall-it has a nice selection of stores. However if you go on the weekend it is very crowded, to the point where you are elbow to elbow with people inside stores. Go during a weekday. The only complaint I have about this mall is how SNOTTY the workers are at Bath and Body Works. I have been to many Bath and Body Works stores and this one has the worst service out of any of the ones I've been to. I was just here and was looking at the scented wallflowers, and when I put one back on the tray, another one fell out onto the floor-the tray was packed full with them so it'd be easy to accidently have one get knocked to the floor. It didn't break, and even though it was clearly an accident, a lady came up to me and said to me, "those are glass so you have to be careful with those". I was like excuse me? I am a 28 year old woman-I felt like I was being scolded like a 12 year old kid goofing off around the store. My mom was with me when this happened and we were both pretty upset, and went to complain to a manager. You don't talk to customers like that, especially when they aren't doing anything wrong and them dropping an item on the floor was clearly an accident. This is not the first time we've had problems with the service at this store. Another time we were here and had a question for one the workers about a certain product, and the lady, not liking our question, said to us, "you'll have to be more specific than that, I'm not a mind reader." They are just so rude at this store. I will not be going to this Bath and Body anymore, and will instead save my money for the Sephora that just opened-and I recommend you all avoid this store as well. read more

I was also very disapointed when I took my grandson to get his picture taken at the mall with santa. You can't use your own camera and you have to buy one of theirs. Well I didn't buy one and I did use my own camera, it is a public place and they can't tell me that I can't use it unless it is posted on the doors of the mall that you can't bring a camera in the mall. If they would charge like 5 dollars insead of 17 for a 5x7 they would get more buyers. read more

I accidentally, came across these reviews and I have to disagree with the negativity by some people. Yes, I may be partially biased because I am from the Appleton area. However, I have been to malls in TX, MD, IL, HI, others in WI and MN and really the Fox River mall has A LOT to offer compared to any of those. A larger size mall does not mean better, most large malls have more empty space than stores. Also, the Fox River Mall has more "upscale" and more affordable department stores. No, we do not have all the high class stores that are in HI, NY, IL, CA, etc., but honestly most people can not afford to pay $800 for a t-shirt. Those stores would not last here. In my opinion the Fox River mall is a GREAT mall. Its clean, has a HUGE variety, is safe, and in a GREAT location. Of all the malls I've been to the one right in my backyard has by far been the best! read more
