Not bad. The wife…read moreand I have been going to the Milwaukee store called 5XEN Market for years. We finally decided to give this place a visit. We came during the closing time, so there really was not a lot of people. Simple place. Clean. Trying to be like MN stores. Basic stuff. One major supermarket, few clothes stores (flee market style), and a food court. About 5-6 food restaurants. We tried two food restaurants, 1) Kaoly's: I had the chicken/rice. Was good! Good size too. 2) Thai bubble tea: My wife had some papaya. That was a fail. She also had the Mangonada, which was below average. For now, we are going to stick to our 5XEN location, because this place was too far for us Michigan travelers. Recommend getting the chicken/rice at Kaoly's. Highly Recommended if you live close to Appleton/Greenbay. If you live in Appleton/Greenbay you should consider trying 5XEN Market in Milwaukee, the food is worth the travel.

FYI, some of the pictures posted for this establishment as deceiving. I've been to this…read moreestablishment 3 times before doing this review. I really wanted to like this place and went different times to see if it would get better, it didn't. First star to say that it's awesome there's a place like this for the community. I enjoy the convenience of deli foods and browsing through shops to find unique gifts and trinkets. It transforms you into a little world of their own. The market place is basically shops within this building that sells Southeast Asian items such as clothing, costume jewelry, shoes, as well as groceries. Within this establishment, they also have a food court. I see a group of women huddled in one area talking. I believe they are the shops owners. They see me because they look at me or toward my direction but no one greets me. At the food court, there's always that one restaurant that hardly opens. The one time it was open, I tried ordering two bowls of pho and they told me it would be an hour wait. I do a quick walkthrough. There are no one behind the other counters. So I stand in line for the only place that seems to be opened (it's one of the middle stalls). Their food is so-so but I'm hungry and I'm too lazy to make sticy rice, papaya salad, and egg rolls so I won't complain too much. If you are coming here to eat, go early before the lunch rush. One of the employees had to go to the back to ask the cook if she had enough ingredients to make a dish. She says she did but I believe she had sub an ingredient or two because the dish tasted off. On their Facebook page, they post pictures of curry, laab, stirfries, etc. I have yet to see this on their menu. This is a nice place to visit at least once if you are in the area.

MENARDS DISCRIMINATES AGAINST THOSE WHO CAN'T WEAR MASKS, VETERANS AND THOSE WHO ARE IMMUNE STAY…read moreAWAY THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!!! tore front end manager was a parrot and rude. They now let you shop without a mask, how they get you is when you try to check out. I've been going to Menards for years and never had an issue until today. After shopping for roofing materials for 45 minutes and then proceeding up to the checkout I was told my business wasn't wanted and I would not be able to buy anything without a mask. Policy made absolutely no sense because I was socially distancing and the cdc has reported it's not easily transmitted on surfaces like they first thought. Cashier refused to check me out after I told them I couldn't wear a mask because of burn pits and my time in the military. I take an inhaler and 30 minutes of a nebulizer at night. Regardless the front end cashier broke the 6 feet rule and came within 2 feet of me telling me I can shop online. She kept repeating her trained little statement about how I needed a mask to check out. Mind you this is after I had already gone through the store, breathed on everything and touched everything. Employees were not wearing gloves or eye protection yet they present themselves as little mask Gestapo storm troopers adhering blindly to their higher echelon propaganda. We should wear masks to apparently protect ourselves and others in case we should need it, ironically which is the same concept as having a concealed carried weapon in the store but Menards hypocrisy is clearly showing. Before anyone says this is a biased report I'll have you look at what their bathroom vents look like when they apparently say your health and safety is a concern. Absolutely disgusting and hypocrisy at its best
