I looked into it primetime before and I didn't join because it had no real locker room. The owner was a jerk. Bad times of business. Not very good classes. EVERY GYM IN TOWN IS BETTER. So I never looked back. So be it. Then they started offering 24 hr membership. They would be open 24 hrs. mercy fitness is my primary gym but sometimes I want to workout at 3 am or Sunday morning or something. The owner was rude but at the time I was going to be there, he wouldn't. So I was willing to pay for a second gym. So I went in to go talk to the owner Mike Reed ( store number 785-537-3003) and he told me to my face that I was too fat for his equipment and he doesn't want me as a member. I've been going to gyms for years and I'm fifty pounds heavier when I was and they never said I was to fat. Ok if he doesn't want my money so be it. But don't let him get yours either.

Staff- 12/10 Leslie and her team were so accommodating and awesome Experience 10/10 What an absolute awesome hidden gem!!! My buddies and I booked cabin 10 for a guys weekend, and took off from KC on a Friday. We spent the afternoon playing a round of golf over at Rolling Meadows (highly recommend a nice little country golf course). Then popped back over to the resort for a dinner down at the restaurant. We lucked out, as they had a live band playing that were surprisingly amazing, and accompanied our dinner perfectly. The gang was split across burgers, chicken sandwiches and whatnot. Nobody complained and I don't recall any left overs remaining! Friday night saw us sitting by a big fire outside the cabin, and watching some of the planes flying around from Fort Riley for the evening. Saturday was a bit of an early morning, as we went over to Acorn's Wild for an awesome pheasant hunt! We had four dogs, an amazing guide in Paul, and were off for hiking the fields for a half day. It was simply the best hunt any of us have ever gone on, and literally all of us have been talking about how fast we can get back out there again. They followed it up with a heck of a lunch spread (seriously, I gotta find those homemade cinnamon rolls), then we sadly packed it up and went back to KC for family obligations. Already day dreaming about our next escapee over. All of this and it's only 2.5 hours away from KC!

My sister just moved to the area and there was an hour of two that wasn't too hot so we decided to check out the zoo! A lot of the fences and gates make it hard to see the animals, so I think they could use some improvement in that area. My favorite was the tiger because we could see him so close up! The kids loved the zoo, and with kids under 5, we like small zoos that don't take all day. This one made the mark! A couple animals I wish they would add would be penguins and giraffes. There seemed to be a concession stand but that was closed the morning we went. There was a nice playground for the kids that we noticed as. There was a lot of adequate shade, which was nice. I would suggest having a stroller or a wagon because there is lots of walking and hills. Overall, for a smaller town Zoo it was great. We will be back sometime again when we visit my sister I am sure.

As a Korean, I can attest that this is as traditional as it gets! All black belt holders are trained under Grandmaster Sun Yi, who came to the U.S. in the early 1970s, and all the dojangs in other states (CA, MN, TX, NC, to name a few) follow the teaching of Grandmaster Yi. It is a very "low key" academy. Not commercial at all. You can come as many or few times you want during the week. Check it out! All about discipline and self-defense. My children and I (also 3rd-degree black belt) feel very confident that we can defend ourselves.

I would not recommend going there to buy anything but a gun because the only thing they have going for them is the price. To me its very insulting to walk into a place and get treated like you have no knowledge of what you are trying to purchase. They need to get trained on customer service and respect.

Me and the group of girls are NOT pilates people, we would rather hang out and play drinking games, but the instructor made it super easy to laugh and have fun rather than a hard workout. The attached park has great playground equipment and shelters for picnics. To the west is a circular walking trails park. The trails are smooth, level, spacious, and clean. If you circumambulate the outside trail you'll cover about 1/4th of a mile. When I was there in March of 2022 the zoo had bears, a bobcat, meerkats, waterfowl, foxes, birds of prey, monkeys, a talking macaw, and possibly a wolf.
