As a result, I had to pay the higher amount of €88, even though I only received the notice today. This is very unfair and unprofessional. Customers should be informed immediately when there is a fine, so they can benefit from the legal discount period. Instead, their delay cost me more money. I do not recommend renting from this company -- be very careful about hidden costs and how they handle fines.

Yes, it's still a subway station between Dante (towards Piscinola) and Municipio (towards Garibaldi). The car ride was from Naples to Pompeii and back. The price was very reasonable. This is not really a taxi, but a private car service. The vehicle we were in was a nice 6 or 7 seat Mercedes van. The driver was really a good guy and pointed out things as we went. He was early at our return pickup, which was very nice, as a lot of things have not been running on time for us. :-) The car service takes care of all of the Bay of Naples area and can arrange tours for you as well. The port in Naples is one of the easiest ports for embarkation and disembarkation. The views of Naples and Mount Vesuvius are stunning. So lucky to have a beautiful sunny day to enjoy the scenery. As far as the disembarkation, literally grab your sea pass, get scanned and then walk off the boat. We used shoreexcursions.com to book a tour from Naples to Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii with Connie, Guiseppe and Francesco from World Tours. So easy to meet them on the dock. It was a wonderful day. Back at the port, we just walked through security and we were back on the boat. So easy!
