So happy we went with Rainbow Limos! Originally we had looked into public transport from Naples to Amalfi, but we wanted to include a stop at Pompeii and didn't want to deal with the various transportation options as well as our luggage so opted for the private transport. Rainbow Limos was highly recommended by a friend and prices seemed quite comparable to other private transport. They picked us up at the Naples train station and drove us to Positano with a stop for a prearranged private tour (that they set up) of Pompeii, then at the end of our stay picked us up at our hotel and took us to Naples airport. If you have the budget I would highly recommend the guided Pompeii tour - I think we got a lot more out of it than if we had been wandering around on our own. They were efficient in communication ahead of time, very clear on details and prices via email, on time/ahead of time for pick ups, and we felt very safe with them. They were extremely kind when our train from Rome was delayed and helped make sure our private Pompeii tour could still happen. Would absolutely use them again! read more

Why 5 stars? Because Nicholas made a potentially stressful situation as painless as possible. --- --- --- While planning out the destinations of our honeymoon, we knew one thing for sure - we wanted to visit the Amalfi Coast, but it seemed like it was going to be a bit tricky to get there. We must have looked into ten different options, but nothing seemed easy. We read plenty of stories of buses driving recklessly around sharp curves of mountains, and the ferry seemed like kind of a pain. Eventually, my wife found Rainbow Limos and their reviews online looked great. What sealed the deal for us, is that there was an option to be picked up at the airport, taken to Da Michele for lunch and then driven to Positano. We didn't plan on spending anytime in Naples, but our friend told us about Da Michele having the best pizza in Italy, and I was very curious to try it out, but it didn't seem that there'd be a way to... until we found Rainbow Limos. The second we found that option, we signed up! Our driver, Nicholas was one of the first people we saw, despite there being what felt like over a hundred drivers waiting for other people. He walked us to his car in the parking garage, and then we headed to lunch. Traffic was a bit hectic in Naples, so he ended up dropping us off just a few blocks away, while he went to go find parking. He told us the general direction to head back to once we were done eating and said, "you'll find me." He was absolutely right. I don't know how he managed to get such a front and center spot, despite the roads being so congested with traffic, but he did it. After a wonderful lunch, we got on the road to Positano. As soon as we got onto the interstate leaving Naples, there was no more traffic during the rest of the ride. We heard about all of the crazy Italian drivers, and it turned out that people were exactly right. It's almost like there are no traffic laws in Italy because people literally do whatever they feel like. I was in awe of Nicholas driving so perfectly and calmly, amongst a sea of total insanity. I know that it's his profession, but the driving was so crazy in Naples - I have no idea how he makes it a whole week without someone hitting him. The ride could not have been more smooth, especially around the curves of the mountains, where a bad driver could have easily made you feel a bit woozy. But one of our favorite parts of the drive was that Nicholas could not have been friendlier throughout the whole process. This was my first day in Italy and 2nd day ever in Europe, so I had a lot of the typical tourist questions, and he was really helpful and polite. He stopped at a couple of lookout points and took some great pictures of the wife and I. At one point, he even took a selfie in the car of all of us. He also stopped at a little produce stand on the side of the road so that we could get a little lemon snow-cone. We absolutely loved every minute of this experience, and cannot recommend enough that you use Rainbow Limos if you're trying to get from Naples to the Amalfi Coast. And if you're debating whether to go to the Amalfi Coast at all - do it!! It was the most beautiful city we visited during our two weeks in Europe. The staff was friendly, the drivers were punctual, and they provided us with historical information and sightseeing recommendations. We were very pleased with the transfer service. Excellent experience from Rainbow Limos. Our driver, Luciano, was excellent and gave us great advice on things to see and places to eat at each of our stops in our Amalfi coast drive. He sent us google pin drops to each of the sites he recommended, as well as restaurants based on our requests. We also used Rainbow limos for pickup at FCO airport, with a stop at Pompeii, on the way to Amalfi coast. Great service and communication all the way through. Luciano even reached out to our hotel and Pompeii tour guide, informing them of some minor delays in our arrival times. Highly recommend!!! read more

We used Rainbow Limo twice during our stay in Sorrento and Amalfi. Their communication was top notch and it instantly put us at ease. They were extremely flexible with us, and the drivers were always prompt, efficient and always calm and self assured. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Giovanni G. drove us on our first transfer and was efficient and also great with a camera helping us to get a great shot at a stop along the way! Gaetano drove us from Amalfi back to the airport in Roma, and were so comfortable and confident in his driving that a couple of us fell asleep on the way! We had a great experience with Rainbow Limos during our stay on the Amalfi Coast. We used their service on two occasions -- a transfer from hotel-to-hotel along the coast and a transfer + tour that included a stop in Pompeii and at a local winery before finishing in Naples. In both cases, our driver Luciano did a terrific job making us feel comfortable; he was easy to chat with and provided great info about the local area. Planning our trips with Ivana was also a breeze. She was always easy to reach out to and communicated with us clearly throughout with instructions on timing, etc. We couldn't recommend using Rainbow Limos more! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Rainbow Limos. I booked them a couple weeks in advance from our hotel in Positano to the Naples airport. The communication from the get-go was amazing. They immediately informed me of where to meet, because our hotel location didn't have access for a car to pull directly up to the front of the hotel. We met our driver Luciano at the pickup location. He was even early waiting for us. His car was immaculate, so clean and a very nice new Mercedes sedan. Ivana even helped us plan elements of our trip and the drivers were always entertaining and informative. We did not only transportation to/from airports and trains but a day long tour of the Amalfi area where their recommendations were spot on and the tour guide they arranged for us (at Pompei) worked out great. Do not hesitate one second to book any kind of service with Rainbow Limos, our transfer from Positano to Naples could not have been any more enjoyable. Our driver was early and kindly called the front desk to let them know that he was there. The car was very clean, water was provided, and the driver was gracious and inviting. Along the entire ride he provided information about the areas and was just a joy to talk with in general. We will 1000% use them for any transportation needs around the area in the future. I do not give out many 5 star reviews but when they are earned I give them. I have used Rainbow Limos several times in 2014 and again in 2016. They are a family run business, 2nd generation and proud of what they do. THey put customer service first, always. Both times I dealt with Ivana who set up the logistics. There was never a problem. They were where they were suppose to be and right on time, every time. The cars were immaculate inside and out. We had Alberco for most of our trips and he speaks English well and is very personable. This visit I also met Luciano another driver that was very easy to deal with. Riding with both Alberico and Luciano you felt safe. They were not driving fast and pulling in and out of traffic and this made the ride enjoyable. If you're in Positano and need a limo this is the one. They are also reasonably priced and take credit cards. read more

I would give Rainbow Limos 10 stars if I could. From start to finish, they were complete professionals and a pleasure to work with. Ivana helped me coordinate all aspects of our needs and offered suggestions along the way as well. We had a few issues that came up, from a delayed flight, to last-minute changes on an all-day trip. Even on a Sunday, Ivana was attentive and accommodating. She went above and beyond! She was checking in and confirming things with me before I even asked. Ivana treated us like family, to the extent of using her own credit card to purchase our tickets for Mt. Vesuvius instead of bothering me for my CVV code when she knew we were touring Capri Island. Obviously, we squared up later, but still, that was above and beyond. Our drivers, Gennaro and Alberico, were fantastic! The roads of the Amalfi Coast are tumultuous! Yet, we had complete faith in the skill and expertise of both drivers. They drove the roads with complete ease and we even took a nap on the way home from Pompei which is saying a lot in regards to trust! Both drivers were a wealth of information but also in tune to us when we just wanted to sit quietly. I highly recommend Rainbow Limos! They are worth every penny and then some. read more

WE HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE WITH RAINBOW LIMOS! Nicholas was our driver and he took us to Ravello, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento and Naples. We did an all day driving tour and not only was he an amazing driver (we felt safe at all times), but he was an amazing tour guide and a great photographer. At every step of the way he told us a little history of the area and made great suggestions of how to spend our time in each location. On a scale of 1-5 stars he gets 10! Worth every cent!!! Bart picked us up at Napoli and drove us to Positano. He was front and center as we came out of baggage claim and was incredibly accommodating. He made sure we were comfortable during our drive and pointed out some of the main sites and the history behind them. He pulled aside a few spots so we could take some pictures and was so friendly and welcoming! Bart made our first time in Italy a wonderful experience. Nicolas picked us up at our hotel in Positano and drove us to the Naples train station. He was also so kind and friendly. He went above and beyond by walking into the train station with us and pointing out all of the information we would need to get to the proper platform as well as pointing out the bathroom and where we could get a good bite to eat. This tour was the highlight of our trip. The driver named Pepe was excellent and very knowledgeable. He made our excursion fun and enjoyable. He was prompt, professional, and very attentive to our needs. It was a life saver to have a service that knew where to park and manage the challenging road of the Amalfi coast. We were referred to this car service from a friend who had used them in 2010. We traveled to Positano and landed in Naples. The owners wife was just SO AMAZING and KIND. She picked us up from the airport in Naples and drove us to Pompeii and waited a few hours for us there before continuing on with us from Pompeii to Positano where she dropped us at our hotel. We later used the car service again to pick us up after a day in Ravello and take us back to Positano and then again to return us to the Naples airport from Positano at the end of our trip. We were driven by almost every member of the family and each of them were wonderfully knowledgeable of the area and history. We loved talking with them and would return and use them again without question. The cars were gorgeous and clean and overall the experience was terrific. Being that the cost to use a car from Naples to the Amalfi Coast is so expensive...I would definitely recommend using these folks as they are enjoyable to spend several hours with on a longer car ride. read more

The driver was waiting for us when we arrived and was extremely pleasant and helpful on our way to Positano. He even stopped to let us take pictures along the way! Highly recommend this company for a driver service! We were going to drive down to Positano but then decided to leave the car in Naples. We emailed about 2 hours before we needed to be picked up and Luciano was there to pick us up. My mom and I arrived in Naples durning rush hour and freaked about because the roads were chaos and were scared to continue driving. Luciano came to our rescue and helped us find where to drop off the car and helped us deal with the rental company about a scratch we didn't cause. This took almost 1.5 hours and Luciano stayed with us the whole time! He is an incredibly good driver too. We were not scared one bit during the drive to Positano. We even used Rainbow Limos again going back to Naples today. Luciano was our driver again and even help us get our train tickets and even took our luggage all the way onto the train and helped us to our seats. We can't say enough about Rainbow Limos. Used this car service on our recent visit to Positano. It is a small, family-owned business. We had scheduled a pickup from Naples airport including a stop in Herculaneum on the way. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed and we missed our connection to Naples in Paris, making us very late on our arrival. I was very concerned that a driver had already been dispatched to Naples and that they would not be able to pick us up on our later arrival. I sent an email from the airport to Nicholas explaining our situation and within minutes received a response that the driver would meet us in Naples. Amazing. On arrival, the driver could not have been nicer, explaining the sights along the way to Positano. The day of our departure went just as smoothly, with the driver arriving at exactly the appointed hour, talking about the sights on the way to Naples (in the daytime this time!) and helping us through to the train terminal. In both instances, the cars were new, clean and comfortable. I recommend them highly! We will definitely use them again when we return to Positano! read more
