We are new to Manitowoc and decided to check put all the stores. We were impressed with the selection at Meijer. Espically the selection of organic and gluten-free foods. They have groceries, clothing, home goods, health & beauty, a pharmacy and electronics. The store is clean and bright with wide aisles for easy maneuvering. The customer service was great. All of the staff I encountered were irritated and responded passive-aggressive manner in their word choices and tone. O was traveling with a family member who recently had surgery limiting their ability to walk long distances. We chose to go to Walmart because we expected the ridding wheeled cart would o be available. None of the ridding wheeled carts (of which there were only 3) were charged or working. I noticed several staff using the carts, around the store and behind the service desk. I completed understand their need to support team members. However staff and customer needs should be balanced. If you are in the area and this store is the closest Walmart, I would choose another location (in Fond du Lac, Green Bay or Sheboygan) or go to Meijer.
