We are new to Manitowoc and decided to check put all the stores. We were impressed with the selection at Meijer. Espically the selection of organic and gluten-free foods. They have groceries, clothing, home goods, health & beauty, a pharmacy and electronics. The store is clean and bright with wide aisles for easy maneuvering. The customer service was great. Meijer will for sure be one of our go-to spots.

Some staff were restocking, others were chitchatting and the others were at the service desk and pharmacy. All of the staff I encountered were irritated and responded passive-aggressive manner in their word choices and tone. O was traveling with a family member who recently had surgery limiting their ability to walk long distances. We chose to go to Walmart because we expected the ridding wheeled cart would o be available. None of the ridding wheeled carts (of which there were only 3) were charged or working. I noticed several staff using the carts, around the store and behind the service desk. I completed understand their need to support team members. However staff and customer needs should be balanced. If you are in the area and this store is the closest Walmart, I would choose another location (in Fond du Lac, Green Bay or Sheboygan) or go to Meijer.

Their was 1 women waiting on her order and after she received hers it was approx 6-7 minutes before the only women working on what looked to be 3 subs by herself noticed me and asked if I had been helped yet, I told her no ma'am and she stopped what she was doing and took my order. I finally got my order and paid, the women who cashed me out (not the pleasent women who took my order) never smiled or said "Thank you", maybe she was having a bad day or was just tired..not a major deal but I always believe customer service is a MUST. *I also made eye contact with an older gentlemen that was working in the back area who came out to restock the clean cups and gave him a smile with none given back* I ordered the Sicilian sub and It was spicy as it advertised so I enjoyed the first half but the second have lost it's appeal due to the spiceiness of the sub so I definitely will not be getting that again.
