The guy will go over everything with you before you go out on the water! Other than that you are good to go! I highly recommend going when the water isn't as choppy as it was when we went but this is the most fun I had since doing jet skis in Clearwater Would definitely do this again!!

THEY NEVER SHOWED UP for our time that we reserved weeks in…read moreadvance and never told us why! We had a reservation for Sunday at 10a. We were in the right place (inside Carolina Beach State Park, at a tent near marina) and early. We confirmed with other workers within the park that this was the correct location for Wilmington Jet Ski Rentals. There's no one at the tent. About 10 minutes after we should have been on the jet ski, and after calling the company multiple times without any response, we get a vague text about how there's been some kind of "issue". They told us someone would be there in about 10-15 min so we said okay and waited....BUT THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! After waiting that extra time, we got another text that asked us if we wanted a full refund or to come back hours later to try again?!? Still no transparency about what the issue was. Did someone die?!? Is a jet ski on the bottom of the ocean?!? Did the workers pass out drunk? Wtf? We still don't know! We did get our refund but yikes, terrible customer service and no transparency. Just tell me some dude OD'd in his pickup truck or crashed a jet ski into a bridge and broke his femur...SOMETHING! We would have come back later or the next day if we had any confidence we would actually get on the jet ski! Never this company again. Bad look for the state park, too.
