When you get there, there is a bar and ice cream parlour basically carved into the rock. They sell beer and spirits and that's about it. There's nice seating made of real wood that overlook the crystal clear sea. When you step down into the cave, there's a tank with a cool octopus in there, further up you have a wooden platform that raises you above the cave pool. In the pool itself there's loads of fish, all different types, sharks stingrays, other weird things I have no idea what they are. The only downside is that there are no toilets open to the public. The place is great and I've been there every time I've been to Ibiza.

I began searching for scooter rentals and wanted to find one that was legit. Sadly, I didn't find much options Yelp searching since it's not as popular there yet (but I will change that! Haha). A quick google search landed me to Cooltra on Trip Advisor. I read all the great reviews and decided to try them out. It turned out one of their locations was 2 blocks from where I was staying. Located on the corner of one of the main streets, you can't miss them. Tons of clean, new white scooters in front. They also do vehicle rentals too from what they told me but I didn't get much info on that. Service was friendly and professional . The person helping me spoke decent English . I wanted to go with the larger more powerful scooter (I think 400 cc) since I been riding dirtbikes my whole life, but you need a motorcycle license to rent those. I went with the 125cc. They gave me a brand new scooter with 3 miles on it! They have all size helmets that are clean. Pricing was ok. I didn't fill I was getting ripped off. **You must provide them with your driver's license , passport and credit card.** don't forget to bring your passport since I did the first time and had to go back to my place and get it. A security deposit will be held on your card until you return it. Also, full coverage insurance is available which covers EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING on the scooter which I elected to get just in case haha. After doing quick paperwork , a walk around the scooter for any prior defects or damages , he gave me the keys and away I went . The scooter was easy to drive and plenty powerful to cruise all over the island. I would cruise the highway at 100 kmh (60mph) with ease . Didn't fill wobbly or anything . Nice locking compartment under the seat to stow your small bag and helmet when not in use. Renting a scooter is a must since it is WAY easier to park and easy to access certain beaches . Very easy to drive in Ibiza not crazy or anything . I filled up on gas from completely empty to full for around 6 euros . I would get around by putting my headphones on and setting my gps on my phone before riding . I'd put my phone in my pocket , turn on the music and listen to the gps give me turn by turn directions to places I wanted to go. Drop off was easy. They checked the scooter for any new damages, refunded my security deposit onto my card and I was done. Just make sure to return to scooter with the same gas as when you got it. If you're in Ibiza and want to rent a scooter , come here. Fast and easy.

The taxi prices are set and in 2017 the price was €12.70 each way. The taxi will drop you off at the intersection of Illetes and Llevant (the beach on the other coast of this narrow stretch of land). You will come back to this point to take a taxi back (you may ask any of the beach restaurants to call a cab to come pick you up, but since there has been such increase in tourism, there are a few cabs waiting to pick people up at any given moment). It's a very famous beach that has a narrow strip of sand and is very long. There are limited sections with beach chairs to rent (at start of the beach closest to Piratas restaurant), but most lay out on the sand. A sandy beach with super calm water that extends fairly far at shallow depths makes it a great option for children, those who can't swim or have mobility issues. Even with the drastic increase in tourism making it crowded now even in September, it is still very peaceful and a place where it's easy to forget the time. Very hard to leave here before the sunset. The good thing is that now they extended the ferry service hours to run way past the 6:30pm final boat in the prior years, so now you get the opportunity to view the sunset from here even if you're not staying on Formentera overnight.

With the same excitement that club seeking tourists rush to Ibiza and run to the parties, I rush to the marina to board one of their boats knowing that any captain I get (I've sailed with Jose N., Jose Z., Fede, Mario & Edorta) will surely give me an experience that will keep me smiling all year! All of their boats are in tip-top shape, but I have to admit I've developed a special connection with Mr. Binguel & Mr. Jones - there's something about those two that has captured my affection. All of their captains are extremely friendly, knowledgable, entertaining and know how to provide A+ service! They know the islands like the back of their hands and will always take you to the best beaches and find the perfect spots to drop anchor. There's no better feeling in the world than the one you get while relaxing on your private floating paradise over turquoise water while listening to the wind and knowing you're the perfect distance away from the on shore beach chaos & crowds. Charteralia also offers speed boat service to Formentera, another sliver of paradise, which I've used for a day trip. Regardless what boat (cat, sail, speed...), itinerary (day trip, week charter, sunset cruise...there's something for everyone!) or island you decide to explore, Charteralia will surely give you the experience of a lifetime! I'm already counting down the days to my next trip (223 to be exact...sigh) - I've not only found my perfect summer destination, but also friends & fun guides I plan to keep forever! Pros: -Their customer service : I contacted Jose via email to inquire and although the website had all the information I needed, he kindly answered everything (25+ emails). -Their Catamaran: I originally opted for the sail boat since it was only for a group of 4 adults but I wanted to surprise my friends and wife with an upgrade, so I decided to reserve the catamaran. Although the catamaran costs more, it is WORTH IT! It was nothing but smooth sailing. -Trust- Have faith because the entire process leading up to the trip is all about having PLENTY of it. It was pouring so we had to wait and see if the rain was going to let up. While waiting, Jose bought us a couple rounds of drinks and some food to hold us up. While waiting, he did not pressure us about staying and told us that he would refund the money if we wanted to leave, not just the partial amount, but the entire amount! We're so happy we waited out the rain because the catamaran ride was the best part of our trip. It was the most relaxing, fun time we had on our vacation. We even saw dolphins out in the bay! Supposedly that's lucky and not the norm. The sunset was the most beautiful thing we've seen. Not only that, he discounted part of the excursion because we did lose some time and offered to keep us out there longer because we had faith. They were professional, friendly, nice, and attentive to our needs. While out on the waters, one of my friends got stung by a jellyfish. Jose took care of it right away and treated it for her.
