They claimed an email was sent but neither one of us received it (we checked our junk email too). What irritates me the most is how the person in the store reacted by saying they have to do this because of no shows. Ok, I get that but other businesses deal with this but sending you a text to confirm or they take a credit card to hold the appointment. It's just a pretty poor way of doing business. Don't give this place your business. Find other providers. By the way, we called Stanton Optical after this fiasco and they scheduled us right away. And no need to confirm through email.

Since it was their mistake, I asked if the optometrist could fit me in, and they still refused to do anything. Needless to say, they have lost a customer as I will be doing my business elsewhere.

Overall, I would say I do NOT like this chain of businesses, but I DO love the employees here. I had snapped the leg off of my last pair of glasses and got in on the very last appointment. Both ladies who helped me were SO helpful and sweet even though they had to stay open late for me. The eye test was done in person and the technician took the time to re-run some parts because I was struggling with it. I had a lot of questions too and although they were moving briskly to get me through the process since it was after closing time, they did not give me any negativity or attitude when I stopped to make sure of this or that. They double checked things I was unsure about and adjusted prices onscreen so I could see exact costs and discounts. As I was checking out, I saw my glasses would be ready after I had to go out of town, and I started panicking a little. I asked if there was anything they could do, pay for a rush service, etc. They checked in the back and told me they would have one of the pairs with the lower-end lenses ready for me tomorrow as they would cut it themselves, instead of having corporate ship them both in in 2 weeks. They were ready 12 hours later! It is such a relief as I expected not to be able to go into work and wasn't sure if I could travel until I had my sight back (I can't do contacts). I believe the lady who cut my lenses was named Yessenia and the technician who checked me out is either Jessica or Natalie (I have a terrible memory so I forgot the 2nd lady's name the second I left). My daughters glasses were done in under an hour & they even offered to stay open so we get them that same day. We used to go to Walmart because they do have better prices but their selection is bleak & their customer service is absolute garbage. Nice office, thorough exam, good communication. My wife and I are both MDs, and he saw us together, which was cool. He neither omitted info, assuming we knew, or dumbed it down. He seems skilled at matching his style to the person. Again, his exam was meticulous, and his explainations were exactly what we needed. Finally, outome. Best damn glasses ever, beating my all time favorite from seven years ago. Over to the optical shop, where prices reminded me that it was Walmart. Frame selection was good, service excellent, and the glasses were ready a day earlier than promised. About as good as it gets.

At the time I was scrolling through my calendar to make sure I hadn't double booked myself with my other doctor. She was in such a hurry to confirm and didn't even give me a chance to explain. When I went to my appointment and checked in she was rude again and I know I've got the same lady because I recognized her voice. I explained to her that she was rude to me on the phone as well I asked her for her name and she said there was no need for me to know her name I then asked her for the manager and she said I am the manager. When she walked away I asked the other girl next to her if she was the manager and the other girl said no her name is Christina our manager is Michelle. During my appointment I was taken back and forth in and out of the lobby a few times there was so much confusion they took me out of a room twice to put me in another room. When the girl took me into the first room there was already people in the room. These people are all scatterbrained and unorganized. The manager there is a complete joke! I sat in the office long enough to see how she speaks to her employees she belittles them and she thinks she is entitled and above them. I heard her talking about another girl she had just scolded with another employee and they were laughing as if it was funny to be bullying the other girl and then still make fun of her. This is not proper management behavior! I will never return to this office again it is absolutely disgusting! I will definitely not recommend this place either as my prescription was way off!
