i am in keystone now for almost a year and when i first came to this course i was not that much of…read morea fan. the fellowship was good but the course was not so good. several p/t owners and budget constraints brought the course down to a bearly playable level. some man named tom was the landlord of the place he did not have the funds nor staff to improve much less maintain the course. he was a jerk anyway. lol. since the harvey family has taken over the improvements have been steady and noticeable. brad has deep roots in the community and has enough friends that work pro-bono to help out that the course is finally taking shape. donald ross himself would be proud and he was the original designer and is world renoun. they also have a new game out there called kick golf. if you are not a golfer you will still have a blast!!!!!!!!! keep up the good work brad, you are making a difference not just on the golf course but also within the community!!!!!

This course is in a very nice neighborhood with a lot of potential, but overall disappointing. I played the back 9 due to the front 9 being closed for aeration (understandable). Majority of tee boxes were below standards with a lot of dirt. Fairways were solid throughout. The greens were very bumpy and mostly in bad shape. I forgot to take pictures of the greens. Again, this course has a lot of potential, just needs some work.

When you walk into the pro shop you are greeted with employees with an aura of arrogance around them. Our round costed us $68 each. When you approach the first tee, you see a combination of both weeds and dirt. Your approach shot will either land in a puddle of grassy mud due to poor irrigation or hard pan dirt. The greens are bumpy, fuzzy, and slow. With weeds over taking the rough. This continues for all 18 holes. This would barely pass as a municipal course, and if I was a member here I would be ashamed.

If you'd like a ball marker or a divot tool, you can pick one up in the pro shop when you check in. Also, don't forget to take a complementary cookie. They're always delicious. The driving range comes with your fee, it's always equipped with Callaway Practice Balls. The practice greens play somewhat similar to the actual course. The greens and bunkers are in great shape, the fairways are good but could use a little improvement in places, which to their credit, it appears they are working on. Had a great round, pace was good, slower groups were very courteous and allowed me to play through though I never asked to do so. Staff is pleasant and seems to be on top of things. Service in the restaurant and pro shop was great. Just an all around great experience. I would drive an hour or two to play this course again.

Turf and course management students and faculty maintain the course and keep it in excellent condition. No tee time required. Driving range available - $3.00 bucket. Very reasonable green fees - walk or ride (new golf carts). Concrete cart path on entire course. Refreshments and basic golf supplies available at Pro Shop. Check signed ABAC flag by Boo Weekly. Stone Creek Golf Course, a Franzman-Davis design, that winds its way through traditional South Georgia wetlands, opened for play in October of 1992. Originally operated as a cattle farm by the Tillman family this fascinating and scenic layout has matured into one of the nicest facilities and best values for golf in the South Georgia-North Florida region. The property boasts an authentic beaver pond, a trophy bass lake and other strategically located ponds and low land areas that make the track a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The club is semi-private but they do welcome public play. Recently the greens were converted to Champions Dwarf Bermuda, which is the same surface used at the site of the 2014 U.S. Open Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Most visitors agree the layout length and tee selections make it pleasantly playable by golfers of all skill levels. I actually live on hole #7 tee box. I have lived at Stone Creek for the past 13 years and can say I love the neighborhood that surrounds the golf course as much as I do the course itself. Family started, family oriented, great place to live and play!! Doc Tillman is still out there living on and loving his creation :)
