For over a decade I have used the Frank Walker State Farm agency for a number of policies. They have always been efficient, knowledgeable, and quick. Recently, I had some major changes to do. With some types of policies there can be many government details to complete. Kathy at this agency just made the whole process incredibly smooth from quoting to application to document submission to payment submission to follow up. With so many businesses now days treating customers with indifference, it was so refreshing to find someone like Kathy that cares about customers. In addition, 5 years ago there was another agent, whose name I do not remember, that helped me when my new car dealer delayed getting my VIN into the state data base. That agent walked me through taking pictures of the VIN and sending to them so the insurance could go on and get into effect while waiting on the lazy car dealer to do their job. read more

The employees never offer help in lowering your bill.They think you are stupid.they raise premiums almost every month

Franks agency has helped us with all our insurance needs. We are a more complicated people to insure than I would say a regular home owner. This agency always figures it out, no matter what we need. Extremely frustrated with the change from previous office management. I had canceled my policy due to moving and instead of submitting my cancellation to afford me the refund my address was only changed in the system with future payments suspended. This was discovered when I received an updated address letter two weeks after the cancellation. When I called back to inquire the status of my account, I will admit I did use some foul language that I apologize for however my frustration is great as I was under the impression I would be awaiting my refund not starting the process from this point. The representative who answered stated "my update was still in queue to be reviewed" therefore she updated it to cancel but I am left feeling as if now that I've cancelled my policy the agency could care less about my receiving the funds. I have always accepted the higher cost of State Farm due to the service I had received in the past but I can not stand by that anymore. read more

I've been a customer of Frank Walker for several years now and I WILL NOT be using them in the future and NEITHER SHOULD YOU. Here's why: I lock my keys in my car late Friday night but I have roadside assistance on my plan. I call State Farm customer service, explain the situation and they tell me everything is fine, someone is on the way and I even get a text confirmation. ETA is set for an hour. 90 minutes later I call them because no one has showed up to help and the person who fields my call can't find my claim in the system meanwhile I've been waiting for them for nearly 2 hours at this point until I finally uber a ride home, which was about an hour drive. I call the office during normal operating hours to let them know how unhappy I was and to see if anything can be done about the situation. I talked to 2 people who just shed the blame to someone else because no one wants to own up for making a mistake. They screwed up, screwed me over and didn't do a thing about it. I had my car insurance through this office for over 10 years. The poorest customer service I have every experienced. After multiple calls and emails, I decided to go elsewhere for coverage. Premiums kept going up practically on a monthly basis with no explanations. Phone calls and emails never returned. After finally getting a response from the agent, the issues stem from new staff not being properly trained. I don't think so. Get your coverage elsewhere. read more

I will quite simply never use or recommend this agency. They promised me savings which after I signed up turned into savings if I jumped thru several hoops. OK - I get it should have been more diligent in ensuring that the savings offered were a reality. They then dropped me - and while I realize that this was due to my driving record, when I called to ask for info - the young lady who answered the phone rudely told me to go to one of the "cut rate" insurers in Ft Walton because I was uninsurable. The "gentleman" she asked (in the background) rudely stated "tell her to go elsewhere". 6 months later - happily insured by Progressive for about the same cost, I get a letter from the DMV - second in that timeframe stating that my license is about to be suspended due to not being insured....I have no idea why State Farm continually send these to the DMV realize they have a responsibility to do so once - but 6 months later? Numerous times? Honestly save yourself the time these guys are jokers - there customer service is terrible and they are rude to boot. Progressive were helpful on the phone - got me hooked up in a nano second and have been wonderful to deal with throughout. Again, realize my case was not "typical" however the rudeness and unhelpful attitude is stunning. read more
