They were outside of work and I stopped by to get a pic of the menu for my coworker. It smelled so good I couldn't resist getting a plate for myself and OMG IS IT YUM! I got a combo with ribs, tri-tip and hot links, which came with two sides, a cornbread muffin and a drink. The meat had crazy flavor and was perfectly fall off the bone and tender. Frankie D's Bar-B-Que food truck, on Saturdays, is located in the Costco plaza off of the 215/Decatur exit. The BBQ food truck offers a wide variety of chicken, pulled pork, tri-tip, ribs, and much more! There are a few side dishes you can order such as beans and mac-n-cheese. Several dessert options are available as well! After reviewing the menu, we had decided to just order a whole bunch of items to try out! Everything looked so delicious!! My nose found this food truck as I was walking through costcos parking lot. I do love a good bbq sandwhich! Looking at the menu they offer the normal bbq fare. Hot links, chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. Along with your traditional bbq sides. I ordered the pulled pork sandwhich with coleslaw and potato salad. The cashier was very nice and pleasant. The workers had good attitudes and nice personalities. The food was ready almost immediately. The size of the samdwhich is great. They had a pretty good heap of pulled pork on it. The bun was fresh. They put a tiny bit of bbq sauce on the sandwhich then give you the tiniest container on the side. Personally, it wasn't enough bbq sauce for me, I prefer my bbq drenched in sauce. The bun was really soggy on the bottom for some reason. (Not from the over abundance of sauce, unfortunately) It one of the BEST bbq sandwiches I have had though! The meat was tender and seasoned well. The Bbq sauce is so good I could drink it! Bbq is all about the sauce, if the sauce sucks its game over. Frankie D's sauce... it's Game ON! SO good. It's that cravable sauce that you'll want on everything! Now... the coleslaw was a let down. I like a creamy coleslaw, this was watered down and hardly had any flavor. The cabbage was a little browned too. The potato salad was unique but very good. You do not get much. I like 2 tablespoons in a tiny container. Maybe this is because it came with the meal but I would have liked more. It was a very good potato salad. Overall, it was very good! I LOVE how they season the meat. I don't understand why many places don't. It really added such a delicious flavor profile to the sandwich making it actually taste good with less sauce. I'll be stopping by when I see them around. This food truck is located in the North Las Vegas Costco parking lot on Saturdays. I ordered a 4 meat plate which included pulled pork, hot links, rib tips, and ribs. Each plate comes with a drink, a cornbread muffin, and your choice of two side. The meats were delicious! Everything was incredibly well seasoned and tender. The only complaints I have are about the cornbread muffin, and the size of the side dishes. The muffin tasted a bit dry and chalky, and the containers for the side dishes are surprisingly very small. The macaroni was superb so to only have four bites of it and then it was gone was definitely a disappointment, especially since there is $1.00 up charge for that particular side. read more

First of all, I was treated with amazing customer service off the jump. I didn't get their names but the lady working the front asked if we wanted to sample anything and the ribs where falling off the bone so you know it was good. I took the family here to try the food since I saw they had amazing reviews and the food looked just like the pictures. I have to say they did not disappoint we where visiting from LA. The women that assisted us were kind and made sure to let us know their desserts were homemade- so sad they were sold out but that's for next time. It was 10 bucks. That's a good deal. It came with hot links cut up on bread. Bbq sauce on the side. Choose two sides. I chose smoked Mac n cheese and potato salad. The hot link was good. I liked the sauce the most. It was spicy so make sure you like spicy. I didn't care for the Mac n cheese or potato salad. It was mediocre. I may try it out a second time and maybe a different option. Frankie D's is fall off the bone goodness. They are fast with your orders and super friendly. I tried the link and ribs today and it was delicious. Ribs were extremely tender. The link had a nice spice to it that was just right and not too spicy. Next time I will have to try the tri tip and chicken. They also have good sandwich meal specials at $10.99. Ordered two sandwich combos (pulled pork and tri tip) and tried the baked beans and smoked mac and cheese for sides. For the price, you get a good amount of food (plates looked reasonably priced, too)! BBQ was flavorful and juicy. BBQ sauce was sooo good! It was tangy, sweet, a hint of bitterness which complemented the sweet/tangy flavors and there was a smokey undertone. The sides were good. We tried the cole slaw, baked beans, and smoked mac and cheese. Definitely balanced the savory part of the meal out. I'm sure the desserts are just as yummy. If you love BBQ look no further! Franky Ds is by far the best BBQ I have has in Las Vegas. My mom shops at Costcos on Saturday and this is always our weekend treat. Their hot links are my absolute favorite and just tried those for the first time last week. They are just the right amount of spicy to give you that kick without being overpowering. If you can tell from my pictures I really love their smoked mac and cheese and their beans are amazing as well. It's so good! My mom always gets the pulled pork and then we share some ribs. The ribs... OMG fall off the bone delicious! I also really love their BBQ sauce and could seriously drink that stuff it's so good! I haven't tried their desserts yet but there is always next Saturday! The only thing I feel like they are missing is some type of green. Saw the food truck around 11:30am on a Saturday in the parking lot of the Best Buy on Decatur. Decided to stop and give it a try. The set up is organized and the folks in the food truck were all wearing gloves and masks. Ordered 6 ribs. The ribs were very tender and nicely cooked. They seemed to have lost their crust though. I believe they were cooked nicely initially, put in a pan with other very hot meat, and then steamed themselves making the outside with a decent char on it, soft. They were still tender and flavorful. The sauce on them was ok. No real spice and pretty thin. Somewhere in between a traditional bbq sauce and vinegar sauce. I mixed it with another bottled sauce at home, and it was ok. I'd order the ribs again, but not the sauce. Also got the chicken dinner with two sides and corn bread. The chicken was very good, but they don't sell chicken on the bone which was surprising. The chicken was all boneless thigh meat cut into strips. It was super tender, perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of smoke. Asked for the sauce on the side and I'm glad I did. It was a nice portion of meat. Got the mac and cheese and potato salad as my sides. The mac and cheese noodles were over done and mushy, and it tasted like they smoked it. It was very cheesy, but not a fan at all of the smoky flavor in my mac and cheese. The potato salad was outstanding. I could have eaten a tub of it. Nice flavor and it tasted like the good southern potato salad my mom makes. Cornbread was pretty dry and didn't have great flavor. I wouldn't get it again. Also tried a mini sweet potato pie. The consistency was that of a loose pumpkin pie, and I immediately tasted either orange or lemon citrus flavor. Never ever tasted that in a sweet potato pie, and didn't like the consistency or the flavor of it at all. Would definitely never get it again. The meat at Frankie D's was very good, but the sides sans the potato salad missed the mark for me. I'll give it another try with different sides the next time. read more
