I've been here a few times and the food has never disappointed. Everything that I have ordered has been really good and I recommend that everyone give it a try. Not a lot of room available to eat at the location on Lone Mountain, but definitely a good place to grab and go. The staff is very attentive and provides professional service. I will say very respectful, which nowadays is a valuable attribute to any business. Ambiance is great especially when the music is vibing.

Tucked away in an empty plaza is the best place to get an al pastor burger. I'm obsessed. Bummed I live so far from either locations but completely worth the drive. I called the order in and it was hot and ready by the time I arrived. Also got an Aztec taco and a shrimp taco - not pictured bc it was scarfed down quickly. The only thing wrong was how messy everything is to eat, but again, soooo worth it.

Went in with the intentions of ordering a surf n turf type burrito . Pulled up to a shopping center to a small hole in wall type .With that being said I was suggested the Gordo burrito I believe it was. Included steak shrimp bacon fries etc . I was feeling the shrimp nice size juicy but I couldn't say the same for the steak . Then when I got to the fries threw me completely off. They were soggy and had I paid attention I definitely would've held off on those. burrito was decent in size but I did not finish not because of size but because of taste. I wouldn't order that again and if I did comeback I'd try a burger seem like Lotta people there were ordering those.

We were craving good Mexican food after visiting CSN's Planetarium. Quickly jumped on Yelp and was provided a few good options. Glad Yelp lead us to Chino's Mexican Kitchen. It's a small walk up restaurant with a handful of small tables. Lots of items to choose from. We ordered their popular shrimp burritos, al pastor burritos and shrimp tacos. We also brought home some Aguas Frescas. Our cashier was very helpful. Provided us some recommendations and handed us the "off menu" options as well. Food did not take too long and we decided to eat at home. So glad we tried out! Every item was delicious!! Can't wait to go back:)

My husband found Chino's online while we were out running errands and we headed over for a quick bite. We pulled into the parking lot and noticed that most businesses in the shopping center were closed but Chino's was open and busy, even at 2pm on a Friday afternoon. We walked in and ordered at the counter. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered a carne asada taco and he ordered a carne asada burrito. We found a small table in the hallway and waited for our food, meanwhile a steady flow of people were coming in to pick orders. It's great to see a small business staying busy! Our food came out and we were so impressed by the amount of food we got! So much meat on my taco and the burrito was so big! Everything was really yummy and we both left with full bellies to continue on our day of errands.

If I could give Chinos Mexican Kitchen more than five stars, I absolutely would. This place is on another level. The food is incredible, the portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Every single bite is packed with flavor. I had the Al Pastor Burger and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best burger I've ever had in my life. The Aztec tacos? Easy 10/10. My wife ordered the shrimp burrito and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. My son devoured his giant bean and cheese burrito like it was nothing--and even the French fries were a perfect 10/10. It's rare to find a spot that nails everything across the board like this. Highly, highly recommend. This place is a must-try.

Honestly I wasn't too sure how this one would be at first. Was about a 20 minute wait on a Tuesday at 7pm. I ordered Aztec shrimp fries and a shrimp taco. And honestly as a pescatarian this is a heavy crown to hold but I would say this is the best shrimp taco in the city by far. From the shrimp to the seasoning to the toppings and sauces it was 11/10. Place was a bit busy but still moves along quickly as expected on a taco Tuesday around dinner time. I definitely will return. Oh yeah wait, the fries too. Cheese pull in every bite and full of flavor. This might be a new favorite.

Came here on a Wednesday dinner time after hiking Mt. Charleston for 9 hours. Was super hungry and looking for some Al Pastor fries, and I was happy I stopped by this place. They have some indoor seating, although it can be a little tight, and kind of in an alleyway. Service is quick and they get your food out relatively fast. Al Pastor Fries ($15 after tax + after an "extra fee 50 cents?") 7/10 - pretty good! Salsa on the side includes red and green sauce. Those are both pretty spicy, but quite flavorful. - fries are crispy, the box they put it in is huge, and you will definitely feel like you got your worth in terms of food quantity - they top the fries with fresh salsa, guac, and sour cream - the amount of meat they put in the box is quite substantial. I felt as if I had received a perfect portion of meat. Sometimes I've had al pastor fries that are way too salty, but this place almost tips the scale towards too salty. It was almost too much salt Overall great al pastor fries, and it was nice that they included some guac and lots of salsa. The overall dish was leaning on the saltier side, but didn't quite reach that point. Portion sizes are fantastic, and I would come back if I'm on the side of town again.

Finally went here for lunch after a high recommendation and it didn't disappoint!!! I got the Aztec Burger combo and an Al Pastor taco. Both were EXCELLENT! Wow! The taco was so flavorful and filling! Loads of meat! The Aztec Burger combo was on point! A hearty burger with yummy caramelized onions, bacon and dressed! It was yummy! The fries were seasoned well and crispy! I was stuffed! The service was so great! I think it's family owned and the young man who took my order was a sweetheart! So kind and gracious! Positive in every way and providing quality service! Give him a raise! It's a spot that's on the smaller size but I had no problem getting a table. It's clean and has an open kitchen space which is cool. Nice artwork on the walls too! Can't wait to try more food here! Support local businesses!

Fresh, flavor packed Mexican food that will leave you full and your wallet in tact! This place is a hidden gem in a strip mall of shutdown businesses. It's tucked away in the corner but definitely worth the drive for anyone looking to come up north a bit. Every taco I had was super flavorful and packed full of meat. My wife got be Al Pastor Burger and it was incredible. They layered it expertly with lettuce, tomato, onion, grilled pineapple and al pastor. Service was amazing and there are a bunch of small 2 person tables. Definitely coming back to try more stuff on the menu!

So many times I crave my friends grandma's amazing dinners. I would do work on my friend house just so I could eat her cooking as payment. That burrito I had today has been flooding my mind with all those good times and great meals. I was able to place my order quick. The whole Mexican vibe of hanging out with family on a beautiful Sunday. I loved the hole in the wall feeling because I knew the food would excellent.

It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and excellent service made the night special. Amanda went above and beyond with her customer service. Our server was also fantastic, attentive and friendly throughout the night. The food was next-level. They must have a new chef because this is hands-down the best Mexican food we've had in Las Vegas. My carne asada chef's special tacos were incredibly juicy and packed with flavor (unlike the dry ones you often get elsewhere). The queso fundido and fresh guacamole were excellent, my wife's shrimp entrée was outstanding, and the flan was truly unique, my daughter said it was the best she's ever had. Every dish was a hit, and the cocktails were fantastic too. Everyone in our group raved about their meals. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and wonderful service in downtown Las Vegas, look no further. La Mona Rosa is highly recommended!

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to.
