It's a small walk up restaurant with a handful of small tables. Lots of items to choose from. We ordered their popular shrimp burritos, al pastor burritos and shrimp tacos. I saw a review in Facebook and thought I'd check out their Taco Tuesday special. I got an El Pastor taco and a Chorizo taco. They were both loaded with meat and guacamole. The meat was cooked perfectly and after adding some of their spicy red sauce, gobbled them both down. Chorizo was spicy goodness. A perfect blend of meat and spice. Al Pastor was also a tasty treat. Al Pastor Fries ($15 after tax + after an "extra fee 50 cents?") 7/10 - pretty good! Salsa on the side includes red and green sauce. Those are both pretty spicy, but quite flavorful. - fries are crispy, the box they put it in is huge, and you will definitely feel like you got your worth in terms of food quantity - they top the fries with fresh salsa, guac, and sour cream - the amount of meat they put in the box is quite substantial. I felt as if I had received a perfect portion of meat. Sometimes I've had al pastor fries that are way too salty, but this place almost tips the scale towards too salty. It was almost too much salt Overall great al pastor fries, and it was nice that they included some guac and lots of salsa. Visiting family this weekend and we decided to have their local fave! Being from LA, I needed something that was at least close to what I'm used to. From the time we parked the car, til the time we left...the small strip mall restaurant was booked and busy. Service was good, asada taco was delicious and packed with flavorful meat. The reviews here were true. The food is jam packed with flavor. After moving from sf bay area i was craving for good mexican flavorful food and finally found a spot which is flavor with every bite. The shrimp burrito is very very good, the shrimp is cooked to perfection, the al pastor is perfectly balanced and the asada even though normal beef is brought flavor by other ingredients, sauces , and veggies. Both spicy salsa are distinct and chilli oil sauce adds to the perfect flavor. The first five star Mexican food i found in Las Vegas so far after being disappointed everywhere. The first time they were unexpectedly closed, but this time around the 30 minute trip wasn't a bust and I was able to order the Aztec shrimp fries like I always wanted since hearing about them several months back. Aztec Shrimp Fries: Monterey Jack Cheese, Grilled Shrimp, Grilled Onion, Grilled Jalapenos, Bacon Pieces, Chipotle Sauce & Guac over french fries. The fries were great, and the customer service was really good. The restaurant was packed and I was told that the serve time would be 20 minutes but they managed to get it done in 15 minutes, which was awesome. I wanted to try their chorizo breakfast burrito, but was told that they're only served doing breakfast hours. When you walk in the place is overall pretty small, I believe this was a Roberto's a million years ago. Menu is Tacos, burgers, burritos and loaded fries mainly. I ordered the Al Pastor Burger and shared the Carne Asada Fries with my Boyfriend. I really liked my burger. Well seasoned, the pineapple added flavor, as well as the Al Pastor meat. Everything just worked. If I'm being picky the burger was a little overdone but again everything tasted great so I can overlook that. The Carne Asada fries were loaded with toppings! The burrito was excellent in my opinion, starting with their flour tortillas. Thé rice was well seasoned and so were the shrimp. They weren't over cooked either which was a plus for me. The burritos are very thick, so you can share half of it if you'd like. I had both green and red sauces and I preferred the red sauce, it's spicier than the green one. After spending some quality time with my wife's grandparent's, we figured that it was time to grab some lunch. We are both fans of Mexican food, so we were excited when my Yelp search presented results with Chino's Mexican Kitchen at the top of the list. Located in a fairly populated strip mall, we easily spotted the restaurant and proceeded to enter. While walking through the doors we were immediately greeted by a friendly employee who was navigating fulfilling orders (they were very busy at the time) and making sure that every customer that entered the establishment was acknowledged. When we made it to the front of the line, my wife and I placed orders for their Aztec Shrimp Fries (my wife is always tickled by me ordering the same thing-she has great taste). The individual who I assume was either a manager or the owner, lit up with excitement when he overheard our order and confirmed that we made the right decision! While we waited for our orders, we people watched and observed that folks were ordering everything from tacos to burgers. Roughly 30 minutes later, our order was ready. Yes 30 minutes is a long time; however, they were extremely busy handling in-restaurant and phone orders. Not to mention, I would rather wait a long period for fresh food vs. quickly receiving a meal that was essentially pre-prepared. The seating is fairly limited inside of the restaurant, thankfully we were able to secure a table as our order became available. If someone asked me to summarize the taste of our orders using two words, I would say the following: "uniquely delicious!" The combination of grilled onions, bacon pieces, chipotle sauce, and guacamole made for an indescribably good mixture of flavors that I have never experienced.
