We went to Santa Rosa beach for vacation for the week and brought our Trek bikes along. The first time I went out for a ride, I noticed my back brakes weren't working. Took my bike to Frankie's for repair the next day. What a great bike shop! They sell and rent bikes and also do repairs. We were told that our brakes were covered under warranty which was great to hear. Frankie's replaced the brakes and took care of the warranty. We were thrilled! They sell all the bike necessities in this shop. Hubby and I splurged and got bells for our bikes. lol. Hubby also bought a cool ball cap. I wouldn't hesitate to use this shop again. Took my 7 year old from a busted tire and had THE BEST experience. Peyton was so patient and showed my son all he wanted to see and answered all of his 750 questions. I cannot thank Frankies enough for their prompt attention to my need. On a Saturday afternoon, the brake cable fails on my husband's Drive medical walker. We all know how busy it is at the beach, especially on a Saturday. They were located about 25 miles from us, but we called them, and they said to bring it... That they thought they would have time to fix it, if it was fixable. They were so kind, calm, and very very accommodating. My husband can only walk with the aid of a walker, and mostly uses his scooter. We waited in our car, and within less than 30 minutes, they brought it out completely fixed. They even gave us extra cable in case the other side breaks. For any of you, that would have the same problem as us, please keep all of your pieces to take to them. I highly recommend this business for any of your bicycle needs, be it purchasing, renting, repairing, etc. They do it all. read more

Great staff, solid repairs ----- ----- We visited New Orleans and Florida between Christmas to New Years. In Florida we stayed in Prominence, in Watersound (Santa Rosa Beach). The rental includes bikes. The bike our daughter rode had the chain slipping off consistently. It's a quick fix but my socket wrench set was at home, so we visited Frankie's, where we met Michael, who knows someone on the big AM News / Talk radio station back home... he also offers paddle board tours on the area's costal dune lakes. Michael quickly fixed the bike and we paid and were off, riding. The next day our son had a flat tire; Michael quickly replaced the inner tube; we played frisbee in the open lot next door; then we paid and were soon off riding, again... a sense of deja vu for me. Where to start! I am well aware this is a bike shop BUT when we pulled out of The Hub yesterday, I happen to run over a fairly large piece of metal that punctured my tire. I was able to get it to the bike shop and asked the dumbest question I've ever asked, "can you help?" Mind you, this is a truck tire. They wasted no time in saying yes they could help.
