I love Dr Gendy, he is an awsome doctor, skilled personable and very professional. Mona, as well, is great, and very skilled. Many of the girls in the office are helpful, easy to deal with, especially Joyce. I actually changed my health insurance this year so I could still use the practice, but since they were controlled by Hackensack Meridian, it has been awful. Me and my family have used Franklin Medical since Dr Gendy first opened. I have called several times, being sick and needing to be seen and I can never get to see him Mona or anyone else in the practice. Today my son had to go to the hospital because they were unable to make any allowances to see him. If this is a family practice, there should be some room to make allowances. This is not the first time this has happened. The health care system is really lacking since these big Medical conglomerates have taken over. Im sorry to write such negative remarks, but if the practice is not aware they will be losing many of their patients. read more

They call themselves a doctor's office but they won't see you if you're sick. So what exactly do they do there? I had diverticulitis with a fever but they wouldn't see me. I work in a hospital and I would lose my job if I denied care to a sick person. Not everyone has COVID. There are other illnesses out there. If you're afraid of sick people, you should have gotten a job at a bank. No telehealth either? It's 2021, get with the program. And some people need to be seen. Check out this article about a guy in Europe. His doctor wouldn't see him face to face. If you are a baby-boomer you will understand what I mean when I say Dr Gendy is like Marcus Welby. He is, by far, the best primary care physician I have ever used. He reviews and coordinates my care with my specialists, is a great diagnostician, and gives as much of his time as you need. He is patient and kind, making you feel very well cared for. I suffer from allergies that causes sinus pain, called the office to schedule an appointment and the first thing they asked is if I was vaccinated..Really?? She told me to go to urgent care they can't see me. Why don't you screen your patients, then make the decision if you should do telehealth vs have patient come in. Extremely rude front desk staff. Called with an urgent medical issue and they said someone would call me tomorrow. Also has front desk staff call with lab results with zero explanations. I've been a patient here since they first opened just from circumstance....my 1st visit was during an urgent walk-in; since then, I have switched over from my original primary Dr. from over 20 years to Dr. Gendy! There was multiple times they have accommodated me in on the same day for a sick visit (i.e. UTI). It's great bc he has seen my kids when pediatrician's office was closed!! Very convenient too. I love Dr. Gendy and his staff is wonderful. I can not say enough about this practice. Dr. Gendy takes his time and is very compassionate in what he does. I would highly recommend and totally trust his practice!! If wait time is an issue...just remember if it was YOU who was in the exam room with the Dr., wouldn't you want the doctor to spend their time with you? I have been going to franklin medical office since they opened. I see a lot of these reviews are regarding his staff. This should not reflect him. He is a wonderful doctor has a lot of compassion and takes his time with each individual patient. I have gone to him for various things and gotten nothing but the best treatment. As far as being able to get an appointment I've always been able to get an appointment no matter what.Dr Genty is an amazing dr. I would recommend to anyone. i have doctor gendy and he's amazing! he always cares about the patient and always answers my questions! he's very thorough with his examinations and blood work and i feel very comfortable talking to him about my issues! nurses are so sweet and make me feel welcome every time i come in! and i don't know why people don't like the front desk i happen to love the ladies there, they are always so helpful and so respectful to me when i come in or when i call. and i've only been going here for a year! i definitely recommend! and don't get mad when they ask for a vaccine card or something if your trying to see them while your sick! it's a doctors office! they have other patients there that can't get sick! be considerate. read more

Dr Gendy is awesome. I was his patient for over 5 years when I lived near his office. I have some health issues that need to be monitored and he was on top of it all the time. Gendy is probably one of the best, if not THE best physicians I've been with. Not only has he been my primary physician for the past several years, but my whole family goes to FMC just for his care. I came into your "walk in" clinic at 11:30 on Saturday (10/1) and was told they may be able to fit me in by 1:15. I waited a little and then asked if I could just make an appointment for Sunday (10/2). The receptionist told me the times she had available and I said I would take the 11:30. When I came in on Sunday at 11:25, I was told I missed my 11:00 appointment. I told the receptionist my appointment was made for 11:30, the day before! She said she could make an appointment for me on Monday. I found a more accommodating "walk in" clinic. read more

Terrible. Receptionists no personality. I had a scheduled appointment and waited for over an hour. When asked how much longer I was told I was next and then three people went in before me. I watched a women check in after me who stated she was a walk in go in before me. When asked why a walk in went before me when there is a sign on the door that walkins are taken after scheduled appoiintments. I was told by the receptionist that there were multiple doctors. Clearly no organization. I would not recommend to anyone read more
