Just recently moved here from TX for a job transfer. My wife and I moved into these apartments and…read morehave been very happy here. They are fairly new, EET clean, and well taken care of. We really like having a 2-car garage, not something you typically get with an apartment. The grounds are kept up very well, and the neighbors have all been very nice. We have 2 dogs and it appears so do most of the residents here, as it's very dog-friendly! The staff who I have dealt with, in particular Yehmien, has been fantastic, friendly, and very helpful, especially when it came to our move-in. I would highly recommend taking a look at this place if you are in the market for a nice apartment in this area, you won't regret it.

I've lived in many apartments in my day (through college, etc) and this is by far the quietest I have ever lived in. I'll occasionally hear the toilet flush on one of our neighbors or the shower going, but otherwise nothing else. Ever. We are only the second tenants to live in our apartment so everything is like brand new yet (which is why the higher rent is justifiable for me). I like the granite throughout, hardwood floors, ceiling fans in most rooms and two car garage is awesome. We have a nice back patio that backs to trees, which again is great. Whenever we've had to put in a maintenance request in, Kenny is here the next day to take care of it. He's awesome to work with and does a great job. Maintenance requests were light bulb out, we nicked the paint and wanted a touch up. I typically email Kena, the office manager and always get a fast and friendly reply from her. Neighbors are nice. Neighborhood is nice, safe and quiet. Very happy here!!

Meadowood Townhomes - Another wide open crawl space, only reason I would think they do this is they have a bad mold problem

Because I am a current resident, I doubt management will respond into my poor rating, proving how they do not care. My issues with living in Meadowwood Townhomes are the leaky fridge, creaky floors, the poor quality tub glaze that keeps peeling, peeling kitchen linoleum, and cars with expired tags taking up valued parking. And lastly, a management team refuses to take action when repeated rules are broken. Also, the complex is handicap accessible in many places. All the homes have stairs, none of the sidewalks have ramps and cars park in handicap spots without repercussion. Living here, I spend $1200 in rent just to not have a place to park, smell neighbor's dog poop on my patio, and suffer due to the lack of maintenance. After spending all that money, I feel SO undervalued. Since they wouldn't lower rent, I also feel STUCK. I wish I was in a financial position to move and put my hard-earned money where it belongs and not here.

Never any loud fights or anything that made me feel unsafe when I'm here alone. Maintenance has been out twice & is prompt. Being so close to Ford Rd. has its pros & cons. I can walk to WalMart if I need milk or am missing a quick ingredient for a recipe. Very convenient. On the other hand, there is always, without a doubt, traffic. It can usually be avoided by taking Warren instead. Our fridge squeaks, bathtub gets very moldy (even after being recaulked) & plugs easily, countertops really need to be refinished because they are stained and peeling (we could try to call about them, haven't yet). It's not perfect, but it's the cheapest around that isn't shady. You won't have to worry about bugs or things being dirty (maybe stained or scuffs on the hallway walls, but not dirty). For the price, I am not complaining. Also there is a pool that opens in the summertime. Washer/dryer that work well in every building (of 8 units) for paid use.

I've lived here for 3 months so far (Oct-Jan), so I cannot comment on the pool. I have a 2 bed 1 bath unit. Pros: -No surprises/things I wasn't expecting -Safe Location- Old Village Plymouth and Hines Drive. -Friendly, personal staff. They sent me a hand signed Christmas card. -Very well maintain units. Extremely clean upon move in. Carpet was brand new and appliances were in excellent condition. -Spacious+big windows with lots of natural light. (Windows are newer, not drafty like previous places I've rented from) -Grounds are very well maintained, snow removal is prompt -No dogs (I like dogs, but I've have dog poop problems at other apartments.) -Water and heat are included with rent -One reserved parking space per unit and additional parking for guests. Depending on the unit, the additional parking might not be as close as some people prefer. I've never had a problem finding spots. -Low turnover of tenants (Some of my neighbors have been here for 7+years Cons: -Washers/Dryers are coin and in the communal basement. Not a surprise or huge issue. -Heat uses a boiler system, so you can hear water running through it occasionally. It's minor and the plus is that it doesn't make the air as dry as regular HVAC. -Expect to hear the occasional train. I didn't realize how many trains come through Plymouth. -No gym/amenities. I'm ok with this since the rent is so low. -No dishwasher or microwave. I've read other reviews that say there are dishwashers, but I think that is only in one of the buildings. They were upfront about it and let me see my actual unit before signing my lease. I wasn't real excited about another apartment (I want to buy a house) but this is a great option. Could you find an apartment with more expensive finishes like granite counter tops? Yes. Could you find a cheaper apartment? Yes, but likely not in Plymouth or as nice. What you see is what you get. Considering all of the pros, these apartments are an excellent value and great place to live. All things considered, you won't regret choosing Lake Pointe Village Apartments
