The Experience is an authentic and passionate group of people that care deeply for everyone,…read moreespecially those that people see as "the least of us". They have great outreach programs to reach into the homeless or impoverished areas and to bring them to church, they serve over 50 families of children who need a little more attention or special accommodations, and they have great programs to help lead people to recovery from addiction and other things that you may be struggling with. Their children's ministry is heart-warming and incredibly personal. They do their best to ensure that every single child is loved and appreciated during their time there and that they are taught about who God is and what His Bible says. They have a great college ministry as well that is booming and encouraging the college students to go out into their cities and to make authentic relationships and intentional efforts to speak Truth, Life, and Love into those they come into contact with. Lastly, the lead pastor is the most charismatic and real guy that you will ever meet. He doesn't sugarcoat religion and life, but he is very careful about his choice of words because he knows that each word could be the difference of Life and Death. He is an amazing and comedic man, but he does get very serious about God's message and tells us what we need to hear. 5/5 stars all day every day!

My family has been attending WOC for about seven years now. We always enjoy listening to Pastor…read moreAllen he is great speaker and would be very easy to listen to for hours on end (sometimes an hour seems short). The church is beautifully taken care of and the staff are welcoming and caring ( we love Sean ). For anyone looking to come to WOC let me say do not hesitate. I have read the reviews and have to say I have never seen anything that has been said. 1. the church is large but not where you would ever get lost and if you have that bad of a sense of direction the building is full of caring people that would point you in the right direction so do not be discouraged. 2. if you have a small child there is child care with vetted care givers that have had background checks ran but I would never believe you would be asked to leave if you have your child with you but maybe let the nursery (0-18 years) take the child so you can enjoy the service. 3. If someone is watching you (never seen) maybe you are creeping someone out and crazy thing happen in churches they are keeping us safe and i am sure there is so much more to the story. 4.There is a coffee shop and they make yummy drinks try one and the book store is not caring the latest Tom Clancy novel don't worry just materials that pertains to our lord, and what a wonderful way to employ our community. 5. If you are a part of the lunatic left this church is probably not for you especially if you are coming in to be a disrupter of the church. 6. The music may be little loud if you sit on the stage but three crosses is nice and big if you do want to sit in the back they even have elevators that would take you up. 7. The church is large but why would you want to sit in a church alone don't we want to make Heaven crowded ? Just my thought I do not work or volunteer at the church and sometime I may not share all the same views as Pastor Allen but I am also not the Pastor but the student hence why we go. God is moving in the earth and at WOC

The people are friendly, but not creepy friendly, if you know what I mean? The worship music is great and draws you into the spirit. There aren't a lot of places that do that for me. And the sermons are powerful and full of the Word, which is all that I want to hear anyway. I don't want someone's option, theory, or experience, I want Bible, which you definitely get here. I have also attended a couple of Bible study groups and prayer groups and they are great too. By the way, new groups start back on January 27th if you are interested in joining one this year/semester. I have only been coming here for about 2 months now, but every time I do, I am greeted by name, made to feel at home, and have made some genuine friends which has been a wonderful thing for me. If you are looking for a church or a new place to call home, come on out and give Impact Church a try. I guarantee they will make you feel right at home, and if you dare to step out of your box you will absolutely make new friends and learn the Word of God. It really does feel like family here. I can't say enough good things about this place. Come see for yourself

I love the Pastor Pat....he doesn't really "sugar coat" his sermons and speaks from his heart/soul. I am sure he has stepped on some toes, but then again they probably needed it! I look forward to his sermons and the way he describes txt from the bible in a layman's terms. I like that. Think I have found a home! Everyone I have met here is genuinely friendly. Benny, also a Pastor here has really helped me a lot through some rough times last year with a major surgery and PTSD issues. Not only coming to the hospital but my home several times and spent time with me when I really needed it. If you are looking for a place to call your church home....I HIGHLY recommend Life Point in Smyrna! I live in Smyrna, TN...don't know why it shows CA!
