Love the teaching and Pastor is awesome, but some of the staff are a concern. The children's Pastor poorly handled my disabled daughter. As a mother concerned, she brushed it off and was angry I questioned her authority. I don't feel my child's needs were met or safe. Allowing anyone with a background check to serve is worrisome. They have a man working with the children who was abusive to me and very creepy. A mother's/ ex-teacher intuition is usually right. God is close to the brokenhearted. Why would they not listen?
My husband was allowed to serve with an aggravated assault charge. Ex felon for aggravated assault. Repeated pattern. He caused division and it's wasn't confronted or handled biblically. My husband was relapsing over and over. That shows a lack of repentance. Why was that confronted? There are other sober addicts that need to be protected from someone who is unrepentant or else he will bring down them with him. Not protecting sheep.
Several abusers are running the prayer meeting and no one cared to listen. My small group leader said I was in sin for hanging out with a man who was helping with my business. He said I had to confess it to him. That's sounds like Catholicism. There's one mediator and that's Jesus. When informed him that I was being bullied publicly for sharing, he did nothing. Refused to respond to my message. Going through domestic violence the small group leader was negligent and didn't reach out to help.
The life coach assistant in the group said, "Women need to know their place." I've been pushed out of the group for taking a stand against men abusing their power.
There are too many wolves. Multiple fake believers are serving. Biblically this is not being handled.
Women suffering domestic violence are being hurt. I'm not the only one.
They're not receiving the care or concern that jesus would show. There's a lot of folks worshipping the church, not Jesus. Sadly, Pastor Corey may not realize what is going on.
The Lord is showing me the sheep aren't being protected as they should be. When a church gets big the wolves get in are wreak havoc. All it takes is one to ruin a ministry. The Lord is using it to unsettle me to move me on. After 3 years, I need to find another church.
