The narrow shop is nicely and newly appointed with three comfy-looking barber chairs at the front, and a seating area in the back where you can watch TV or read a magazine while you wait. The barber, Noel (formerly of Tidory's downtown, I think), was super friendly and instantly understood the (admittedly simple) cut I was seeking. The cut was excellent, and I appreciated the attention to detail as he finished the cut with a straight razor around the hairline. Like many barbers, they do not take appointments but because they're so efficient I can't see it being a problem. My husband went at 4:00 on a Wednesday and didn't wait. It's Whyte ave so of course you need to consider parking and they don't have extended hours but all things considered, it seems worth the effort.
