Found this gem of a taco spot that is just as good as the best I've had anywhere I've had in Southern California. They're usually open late, the portions are pretty darn large, and the prices are more than reasonable. They have a great assortment of toppings and salsas and make their tortillas fresh. This place pretty much checks all the important boxes for me personally when it comes to taco spots I love. I came here late at night and the line wasn't too crazy. Not as lively as more popular spots I've been to, but there were a few people in line. You do get the vibe that this spot is a favorite among locals. I ordered a vampiro (crunchier tortilla with a layer of caramelized cheese that holds the meat and toppings) with asada and two al pastor tacos. Usually, I can eat that easily, but with the portions here, it was a bit of a chore. The smoky flavors and fresh toppings and salsa were all on point. The horchata I got to wash everything down was also very good. A true gem of a spot in the Inland Empire.

The food is so delicious and a bang for the buck. The locations are always filled with people…read morewaiting in line. You've got to go taste it for yourself.

They're conveniently located right off the freeway, so finding them was easy thanks to the cross streets they post on social media. When we arrived, there was already a line, and more people kept joining as we waited, which made us even more excited--seeing the crowd felt like a good sign! At the front of the line, you first order your burritos, quesadillas, or tortillas hechas a mano. Then, you're quickly moved along to order your tacos, where you'll be asked "anything else" repeatedly until you're done. Finally, you get any al pastor items and then pay. They accept cash or Zelle. Unfortunately, the aguas frescas weren't placed near the checkout area, so I missed out on getting a horchata after I'd already paid, which was a bit disappointing. The overall experience at the location was pretty average. The staff was clearly working hard, but they weren't very personable or approachable. I even mentioned that I wanted my tacos to look like the ones on their Instagram, but the guy just ignored me. Sadly, the tacos were smaller and less meaty than advertised, and the same went for my burrito--hardly any rice and beans. It's conflicting because the flavors were genuinely good, but the portions were underwhelming and the service could have been better. Despite this, my husband loved the food, so I can see us coming back--maybe just sticking to the tacos next time. And definitely getting salsa on the side because one of them was extra spicy! The guac, though, was my favorite!

The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Prices have gone up for both the tickets and parking so be prepared to pay $15 for parking and $15 to get inside. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

[Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

Whenever we're in the area and see the truck, there's always a crowd, and we always stop by to grab some food. They've never disappointed us. Their salsa is one of our favorite parts--it's flavorful with a good spicy kick. Our usual order: Carne Asada - 7/10 Tender, but a little on the dry side. Lengua - 8/10 Super tender and full of flavor. Al Pastor - 8/10 Well-seasoned with a nice char. Mulitas - 9/10 One of our favorites! Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Lengua Quesadilla - 9/10 Loaded with tender lengua and definitely worth ordering. We recommend this spot to all of our friends. There's plenty of parking, and the truck is well lit at night. Although the surrounding street is fairly quiet in the evening, it's an easy and convenient stop if you're craving authentic street tacos.

They set up at 6pm but the line starts forming by already! They have al pastor on a spit, carne asada, lengua, the whole shabang! The tacos were only $2 when I came but menu said $2.50. They run promos and tell you day of so that was it for us. Their burritos are hefty with a generous portion of meat and the condiments on the side were great. Salsas can be hot so you've been warned. This place takes cash, zelle, venmo.
