Since Nicole started in a portrait studio, she has a great eye for portrait photography while still capturing the mood and emotions of the people and event. Further, Nicole is such an easy person to work with! From the beginning, her customer service was wonderful. She spent a good amount of extra time getting the best engagement photos of us that I have seen to date. She even went ahead of time to scout out the shoot location to get our route and timeline planned so we got the best pictures at the best locations at the best times. Our engagement photos at CU Boulder (University of Colorado Boulder) turned out spectacular. The day of the wedding, she arrived on time, ready to go, and focused. We were able to see the whole classes pictures in our gallery and I loved how each of these small portraits managed to convey a lot of the child's personality, which I imagine is not an easy task when you are dealing with 3 and 4 year olds. We ended up loving each of the photos of Ephraim so much (I think there were 3 different photos) that we bought some of each picture for ourselves and to share with family. Based on those photos I emailed Katie to ask about having a family session done when our baby turned 6 months old. She was super friendly and prompt in her emails, working with my strange travel schedule to set up something in a really timely fashion and even was able to reschedule the original date when I had an unexpected event pop up. At the scheduled appointment Katie was really easy going and easy to work with and took some serious gems of our family, of the boys individually and together, and even some of our silly dog. It was quick, an important point to note when dealing with a 6 month old and 3 year old, but I was really happy with the variety of shots we received.
