To make matters worse, there was a strong smell of marijuana during my visit last Saturday, which isn't surprising given the new management. If you're looking for overpriced storage unit leftovers, this is the place--otherwise, you're much better off yard sailing or visiting one of the many quality thrift stores in Foley.

It was obvious after only a moment of being in this store that these guys have an eye for treasure, they also are very patriotic and showed their thanks by putting out a table of home-made goodies set up with ice cold drinks for the customers in appreciation of Memorial Day. Every aisle is filled with something unique, I was really impressed with the condition of a lot of the pieces and I felt for the most part the prices were fair some leaning towards the upper end of retail but the few items we did find 'to purchase were priced fair and there was no need to bargain. This is one shop I'd frequent if I lived in the area, the kind of merchandise displayed here will turn over so I'm sure there's always something new to see...

Earlier this month, I purchased two items from Red Beard Treasure Chest, redbeards.net, in Robertsdale, and I recently stopped by again to see if I could return them. I understand that they have a sign stating that purchases are not returnable or refundable, and that was not the issue. The problem was the way the owner and an older gentleman treated me. They were both very cold toward me. As my good friend and I were walking out the door, he heard the gentleman say, "That is what he is doing; he is using his handicap to his advantage." I'm glad I walked out of there proudly and kept my dignity. I don't think they understand what good customer service means. Regardless of whether a purchase can be returned or refunded, every customer deserves to be treated with respect.

The mechanism must have been broken and I had to dislodge it from being stuck on her shoe. The woman working at the counter just stood there not saying anything although she saw it happen and never checked up on us even though my sister was nearly in tears and limping in pain. We then hobbled down to the other store and the man working did not seem to care we had such an experience. I don't write many reviews but save them for excellent places, or, as in this case, places that should be avoided as my public service. I didn't get a good view of the items in either store but quick glances I showed nothing special in either. BE AWARE! I can't fathom the lack of concern over the customers' well being. Horrible people!!
