My mother's home has been broken into 3 times over the past 7 days. Luckily this is a property that we are renovating and she is not living at that property. Each time that Frase called us to let us know that the alarm is going off, we had a difficult time getting an update from them. They called and had the police dispatched all three times, but they never follow back up with us to let us know what the police said or to give an update. We have had to call them each time. Each time, Frase reported that it was a false alarm, but it was not. We went and checked the property ourselves and saw that it had been vandalized, small items stolen and the door wide opened. When we let them know this, we still had difficulty getting them to change their report from false alarm to break in. This latest break in that happened this morning still is being reported as a false alarm eventhough the bulgar damaged the frase system; it stopped working. This morning when we called Frase to get an update, the woman told us we could just call the police ourselves and she laughed. She also told me that she called nonemergency police number. Why would she do this? A break in is an emergency especially when it has happened 3 times. Why would she tell me I could just call the police? Isnt it their job to follow up with police so that they can give their customers proper updates for their peace of mind? So we spent most of the day trying to get Frase to come out to repair the alarm so that we can be prepared for a potential 4th break in. Eventhough the frase system is not great, it is better than nothing for right now. I am planning to change to a different company. My other home is protected by another company and they are very professional, unlike Frase. So, my mother called Frase earlier today and expressed urgency about getting the alarm fixed and explained what had happened and the person on the phone acted as if we were faking. We have been customers with Frase for about 7 years and have been good customers. I do not appreciate their lack of care and lack of professionalism. So they said they would call my mother back, but they did not. Then I called and expressed urgency and explained the situation and they finally agreed to send someone out today. The technician was very unfriendly and all that he did was to change out a sensor. Then I get a call from the women that I had spoken with earlier saying that I owed $80 that had to be paid today. First of all she never told me that there would be a fee. Secondly, why would i have to pay a fee for something that was not my fault. It is not my fault that someone broke in and damaged the alarm. Thirdly, why were they insisting that the payment be made today instead of billing it to my account. This whole situation has left a bad taste in my mouth. I am exhausted and feel that I have been wasting a lot of money paying frase to protect my property. read more

Would never recommend this company if customer service and safety are important to you. I recently moved into a new home with my fiancé and we were excited to find that a security system was already in place. I called the security company to activate the alarm system, but they couldn't be bothered to turn it on because it was a Saturday. "Wait until Monday and call us back," they said. Instead of prioritizing their own business and my family's safety, out of sheer laziness the company left my home unprotected. As if criminals don't break into homes on weekends? Sure enough, I was robbed the following morning--all of my personal belongings scattered everywhere, things missing, glass shattered. Could never recommend this company to anyone. I will be removing their equipment from my home and contacting ADT instead--I suggest you do too. Avoid them. read more

Frase has been protecting this residence for 22 years. We have been very pleased with the equipment quality and ease of use. We have had a few accidental triggering's of the alarm and have been pleased with their rapid response. When we travel, there is an easy procedure for setting up alternate procedures in our absence. And we have appreciated their migration to newer technology as it became available. For instance, we were an early pusher for WIFI instead of using the phone landlines and they made us the test site and it has worked extremely well and allowed us to drop the old phone line. And when they integrated the ability to control the system remotely from our phones, we were early adopters and very pleased with how well it works. read more

My husband and I are seriously obsessed with this company. Our lot is large and strangely shaped, so our cameras make it easy to see what's going on in front of the property, while we are in the back etc. if we ever need to call, they ANSWER. And they are very helpful. We can do so many things when we are away from home...and the app is amazing. The lady I spoke with was friendly and able to answer a few questions I had about billing.
