So we tried it out it is even out of the way for us! There is another dance/gym place practically accross the street by me I could throw a rock at it. It has a warm homey feel to it, there is a changing room for the girl's and the dance room is enclosed. The parents can watch the dancers on the closed circuit tv in the front room. This is a + I think as there are no distractions for the kids. Other studios have glass on one wall so parents can watch, my kid would just look at me and not focus on the dancing. It is family owned and I feel very close w them, they take the time to know who you and your kids are as well. They like to see the progression of their teachings its heart warming! I have to say Mrs. Marianne is the best teacher she is very experianced and does so well with the wee ones, her energy is so high and you can tell she loves what she does! They have a recital once a year and they put alot into it. The owner is Carolyn and her daughter's teach some of the classes. I am not a religous person by all means but they are a Christian conservative family. Her daughter's were not comfortable at other studios where their costumes would show a little too much skin and the routines got somewhat provocative. They opened Purely Dance they have doubled their attendance in one year and I see them continuing to grow! They started offering an adult tap class on friday's which me and my younger sister are now taking by the way. Come join for a free class! The summer specals are going to be great!

We started well before COVID hit and was so happy that they quickly adapted during COVID and kept the classes going for the kiddos (it was virtual of course, but knowing the routine was still there helped to keep my daughter engaged.) Now that things are getting more back to normal, I am even more impressed with the studio and all they have to offer. They offer a variety of classes on weeknights and Saturday. I am so thankful that the classes are all after school and work times. While I know some younger kids could potentially go to class during the day if a parent was free, I greatly appreciate that the norm is not a class in the middle of a work day, this greatly helps with working parents. My daughter has been in 3 levels of combo classes so far and we have loved them. The combo class lets the kiddos do both Tap and Ballet and they normally have 2 recitals a year. As the kids get older they normally gravitate to 1 type of class, which we are hoping to do that in the fall when class schedules come out. The studio also has company dancers who have a lot more practices and competitions. I love that this is an option for the future, but it isn't pushed on the kiddos. All the kiddos that I have seen in the company truly love dancing and are treated like a family. I am not sure my daughter will ever want to do something like that, but I can greatly appreciate the spirit and trust that is given to Lora (owner) and the teachers. If you are interested in a class, give them a call. I know when we started they offered a free trial class to see if your kiddo liked dancing, which is amazing since not all kids like dance classes. We love LA Dance and will continue to have our girls take classes there as long as they want.

My daughter has danced for 7 years and has grown in every way possible with Elite. Not just her skills as a dancer but overall, especially in her confidence. They focus on technique and take the time with each dancer to help improve their craft. Each teacher truly cares about each student and wants them to be their best. She loves dance, and even wants to put a ballet bar in her room which I thought was so cute. This studio is a great tucked away gem. It's good pricing, monthly fee, no contract. The 3-5 age group does the ballet/tap combo, my daughters favorite being ballet. I don't do the summer classes since they can be crowded but the normal class times are much quieter and relaxed environment. I always shop for my dance items next door to support this small business as well. I've always been treated nice and with a smile, my daughter Kai loves her dance teachers and can't even leave without extra hugs. Next year I plan to have her go twice a week to develop her skill more so I'm going to look into that further. Thank you for three great years so far! We travel about 25 minutes to get here, when we would be going to closer studios.
