Nice selection of original flavors. From Patagonic white chocolate to banana split and key lime pie to more traditional ones like nocciola and zabaglione. No welcome just blank stares from the two attendants. Nice place one block south of Hollywood boulevard and only steps from young circle. A bit pricey though considering there are other options nearby.

Stopped at Freddo for some gelato because, of course, I had to try the "best gelato" in Hollywood, FL! There were so many flavors that looked good to me, and I was able to sample a few before making my decision. I went with the cookies and cream. A cup with 1 scoop was $8 + tax, so it was pretty pricey for a small amount of gelato. There's plenty of seating indoors, and 2 small tables outside. The customer service was also great!

This little gem made it's way to Hollywood! It's located on Harrison street close to young circle. Parking can be a little challenging, but we were lucky that day to find out right across the street. I love that the let you try the different flavors first. We decided for the pistachio and the cookies and cream - they were both delicious. The gelato was creamy and silky. I tried 4 flavors and were all really good. The place is very clean and had very cute decor. Some cons are that the service could improve a little and their gelato is on the pricier side.

We stopped in here after dinner tonight and while the service was great, the gelato was not. It was very gritty, almost freezer-burned? Except she let us try a few flavors and they all had the same rough consistency so I think that's just how they make their gelato. The pricing was also pretty steep, 1 scoop for $8, 2 scoops for $9, or a waffle cone bowl with 3 toppings and a sauce for $10.50? It just didn't make sense. I'd skip this stop in downtown Hollywood if I were you.

They were so kind and did everyone's orders quick. It's a casual spot. Grab and go. I got the rainbow sprinkles and the chocolate and vanilla. It was delicious. Decent prices. I am coming back.

Keep an eye out for the charming blue-and-white stand topped with American flags, set back from the road, it's easy to miss, but worth seeking out. The Siciliano family has been serving the Miami community for decades. In October 1961, Louis Siciliano opened a sub shop at 711 NW 119th Street in Miami. Although the original location has since closed, the family legacy continues with Siciliano's Frozen Custard and the neighboring Sub Center and Siciliano's Subs, all operated by members of the Siciliano family. Don Drybread, Louis Siciliano's great-grandson, originally opened the custard stand as Uncle Tony's Frozen Custard before renaming it Siciliano's in honor of his mother's side of the family. Siciliano's specializes in frozen custard, which differs from traditional ice cream by containing egg yolks and being churned with less air. The result is a denser, richer, silkier dessert with a smooth texture. It's also served at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream, allowing you to savor its rich flavor. The custard is made fresh throughout the day, ensuring the perfect consistency every time. Custard is offered in the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and a twist of both, available in cups or cones with your choice of nuts, candy, fruit, or sauce toppings. The menu also features sundaes, sorbet, milkshakes, and their signature thick Hurricanes. For something a little different, Carolyn's Creations transforms the custard into treats like cannolis, dessert tacos, and ice cream sandwiches. I ordered a medium vanilla custard topped with butterscotch and it was so satisfying. The rich, creamy custard made the perfect treat on a hot summer day. There isn't any indoor seating, but there are picnic tables next to the Sub Center, which is great spot to savor your sub or custard.
