Stayed at a nearby resort and stopped in for dessert. Spacious shop with friendly service from Nathalia and Juliana. Tried the taro and vanilla swirl and the signature egg waffle cone with vanilla ice cream -- both delicious! Ice cream was rich and creamy, and the waffle paired perfectly. Will definitely return to try their boba milk teas.

Those delicious-looking waffle cones stuffed with sweet treats are called Puffles. They are conveniently located in the amphitheater plaza, right across from Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. I was there for the night with my boyfriend when we had first started dating. I actually think it may have been the first time we had ever gone anywhere alone together and it was only our second date. Gasp, scandalous. I digress... At Puffles, they serve Hong Kong egg waffles. These are also called Gai Dan Jai or "puffles". They are crispy on the outside, soft, sweet, and pillowy on the inside. These are rolled into a cone, and you can customize them with your choice of ice cream and toppings. But there is one menu item that I believe stands above all of the rest... Let me introduce you to a seriously addictive treat... the Caramel Delight. Here's the magic of Puffles Caramel Delight: A warm original egg waffle cone (they also offer chocolate waffle variations) -Stuffed with classic vanilla bean ice cream -Generously drizzled with sweet, rich caramel, cookie crumbs, and pokey sticks -Finished with optional toppings if you're feeling fancy The result is a combination of textures and flavors that feels indulgent and nostalgic--like childhood meets gourmet. These are awesome! Hit the spot on this hot sunny day. Hong Kong egg waffle with ice cream and candy! Expressive but worth it imo. 4 Star because of the typical post 2020 credit card charge.
This place is conveniently located by a vibely walking area, other cool spots, & near an affordable parking garage. Our waffle cones were amazing. The texture is different than American waffles. It taste more light & airy. The toppings were unique & I appreciated the options. We loved their cones & ice cream.
The taro soft-serve here is good! One of the better taro soft-serves that I have had. It is a bit pricey for what it is and the waffle isn't that good either. I ordered the sundae which is a bubble waffle in a cup, you can choose to fill it which your choice of soft-serve and you get three toppings. I paid 16 dollars for the sundae and a bottle of water. The service was quick, I received my order in less than 5 minutes. There is only seating inside and not much of it so don't expect to sit inside if it is busy.

A fresh, warm waffle with a scoop of ice cream and delicious toppings. We had the ultimate chocolate which was exactly that, lots of chocolate. The employees were friendly and the place has several tables to sit. The only complaint is it is quite pricey- almost $14 for a half waffle and a single scoop of ice cream.
I absolutely love the puffed waffle ice cream cone trend! It is literally what my dreams are made of. There is just something so delicious about a warm, fresh waffle filled with ice cream. I always like to keep it simple with chocolate fudge brownie ice cream and the original waffle with no toppings. You can 100% go to the extreme and get a ton of toppings, as they have a huge selection. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was cool that you could watch them make the waffle as you ordered it. The spot is the perfect place to grab an ice cream and walk the pier! I dream about this almost daily and can't wait to make it back to get another!

The only thing that would make this better would be more flavors for the soft serve. They only had two flavors of soft serve. Overall this is a good place to visit & would come back if we are in the area.

I'm not a huge dessert or sweets person, but I would come here every day if I lived nearby! The workers were so patient as we figured out what we wanted to order and how to customize our waffle and it came out so perfectly. If you have trouble finding this place, just follow the scent of fresh, warm egg waffles that trails along Margaritaville. read more
We went here as part of a food tour and I got the caramel delight, a cone made with a freshly made waffle, sea salt caramel ice cream, whipped cream, caramel crushed Oreos. This was our last stop and I was honestly not hungry at all but the ice cream and waffle were so good! What a treat! It's pricey but a good splurge. It's definitely shareable. This place was very clean ; very good portion ; I wasn't stuffed like other ice cream places . I am still looking for that ice cream place that includes bacon as part of the toppings : it's a wild combo but one that can never be forgotten . Overall great fresh ice cream read more
I enjoyed this amazing dessert easy to grab while walking down the beach. I got the cookies and cream with m&m's and some whip cream. It was great for sharing. I would recommend stopping by this summer to cool off from the sun. The service was great they helped me order and even offered suggestions. read more

This is a fun dessert spot to try if you're at Hollywood beach. We ordered the ultimate chocolate which is indeed ultimate chocolate. The waffle is very fresh and warm, with a big scoop of ice cream and many toppings. It's a pricey treat ($14) but delicious! read more

You really can't go wrong with a sweet treat. I always love waffles and ice cream together. I'm not a fan of heavy sweet treats. Like when places put all this extra stuff on top. But here everything was the perfect amount, not too much and not too little. The ice cream also came out to about $12 and compared to other places this is cheaper. The place itself was clean and quick. read more

Was craving some ice cream after walking the boardwalk one Saturday afternoon and found Puffles on Yelp. There was a small line to order and it moved quickly. The staff was friendly, helpful and patient. My family and I ordered an oreo brownie ice cream on a chocolate waffle cone. With this option, you get up to three toppings. We went with mochi, green tea pocky and condensed milk drizzle. We also ordered a honeydew milk tea. The waffle cone ice cream is big enough to share, but so delicious you won't want to! Halfway through sharing it with my kids, I realized I definitely should have gotten my own. The honeydew milk tea was refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. We loved Puffles so much we went back the next day! read more
Friendly staff, fluffy and warm puffle cone, deliciousiously sweet and savory Ice Cream. After having lunch on Hollywood Beach yesterday, I walked past this store front. The name of the store intrigued me and I decided to stop in and take a look. It is an Ice Cream Parlor that specializes in Hong Kong Egg Waffles called Puffles. Similar to traditional waffles or crepes, the Puffles are served with hard scoop or soft served Ice cream, topped with your favorite toppings and drizzle. They have a variety of hard scoop and soft served Ice cream. I went with the Strawberry Cheesecake hard scoop, topped with graham crackers, and a drizzle of Strawberry syrup. My friend, not knowing what to choose, asked the server to surprise her. She ended up with a Salted Caramel hard scoop, with Caramel drizzle, and mochi on top. They both were absolutely delicious. The warm Puffles are a great addition to the ice cream. The staff is friendly and helpful. They greeted us, went over the menu since it was our first time here, and gave us great recommendations. The Parlor is clean, they offer indoor and outdoor seating. Its right on the beach near Margaritaville. Great location. Lots of parking. Perfect place for a family fun day, sweet tooth cravings, or just a simple outing on the beach. For me, it was a nostalgic experience from when I visited Germany and enjoyed their warm fluffy Belguim Waffles with Vanilla Ice Cream. It really hit the spot and I will be back to visit in the near future. read more
I loved the experience with this ice cream shop. Next to the beach, small and cute. There are tables and chairs outside as well as inside. I would definitely try the chocolate cone next time. I would like to see more flavors of cones But other than that no complaints. It is definitely a vacation spot worth a visit. read more
Do it for the experience! Food: The bubble waffle cone is amazing! The ice cream itself is okay but with the cone and the toppings everything evens out. I do recommend trying it experience the cone! The chocolate cone was amazing! Atmosphere: The location is a small shop with a few tables inside and outside in the front. I went on a weekend and it was packed. If you go on a busy day/time be prepared to walk along the boardwalk with your ice cream or sit on the sidewalk. Service: The folks working the counter were not very friendly but they were extremely fast and efficient. read more

Oh my puffle! This place is good. Just outside the margaritaville hotel parking lot. You walk in and it smells like sweet waffles and good music. They have options for regular or chocolate puffy waffles. Pretty much the waffles are puffy balls all over (kind of like a Lego piece) We did a chocolate waffle with cookies and cream soft serve. My toppings were chocolate sprinkles, marshmallows & pocky sticks. We did get it in a cup but they also have the option of a cone. But with the heat of the waffle it does make the ice cream melt quick. Also got a mango tea with boba (tapioca pearls). The tea was super refreshing! Waffle was not so sweet so the balance of ice cream waffle and toppings all together make it really enjoyable. This is a great place to visit if you go to the beach or have a sweet tooth and craving a really good dessert. Staff was really friendly and helped us navigate the menu and all the choices! read more
This place is located next door Wings. You can't miss the place. It is a nice size place. Everything looked very clean. I ordered a drink I don't remember the name. It was really good. It had pineapple and strawberry bubbles. I really enjoyed it. I did think the price was a little high but it was good. I ordered the Death by Chocolate. It was a Chocolate Waffle with a scoop of chocolate ice-cream with oreos and m&m. The Waffles are made fresh. They do them right in front of me. It was still warm when it has handed to me. The Death by Chocolate was good. It was a good size and tasted great. I enjoyed it. I liked the presentation. It visually looked great. The service was fast and friendly. This is a cute stablishment. I loved my waffle cone ice cream! It was delicious, warm, fresh , sweet, yummy and served it's purpose. It's a cute presentation. Will definitely come back to that spot when I'm in Hollywood area. The line was a bit long but it goes by fast. It's worth the wait. There's plenty of spots there, inside and outside sitting. After purchasing we walked around the area while we talked and enjoy this treat. It's literally less than $10 won't break your pocket. read more
November 29/2021: Not sure how this place survives cause it so tucked out of the way. Interesting concept. Select your waffle cone, they make & then add the ice cream & toppings. The waffle was the highlight. The ice cream was mediocre at best & was lacking the chocolate "UMF" that I look for. Too many other places to go back here again. read more

We came for last minute Milk tea ! Parked in the Margaritaville garage and took the elevator down to Puffles. It was packed for it to be a Tuesday night. ! Good music playing service was fast and staff was friendly . I had a Thai milk tea with tapioca pearls , tried a couple of the slushies with popping boba and jelly . They are super sweet but so delicious ! read more
Super aesthetic desserts and the egg puff was delicious. The ice cream wasn't quite there. Especially not for $8 a pop. With an improvement to the ice cream itself, this one's a 5/5. Great location right on Hollywood Beach. There's a big parking garage right across the street for $3 an hour. Getting in and out was easy and it was lovely to eat out dessert on the beach. I had the Thai tea soft serve. The flavor just wasn't quite there and they went a little light on the toppings, so it all tasted the same after a while (it's pretty big). I was a big fan of the warm and soft egg puff though. Good social distance. Easy to take it outside to eat, very spacious inside, and masks required. read more

After a night out by the beach puffles provides just the right thing to satisfy your sweet tooth. The staff was very nice and explained the menu very kindly as there are many options to chose from. You can either get a cone or a sundae with the signature Puffle waffle that either comes in a chocolate or original flavor. Then comes the filling of your choice of Ice Cream I had the strawberry which was good but the strawberry flavor was very minimal and i wish it was a bit stronger. It also had like a strawberry jelly instead of real strawberries which threw me off a bit but wasn't bad. To then top it off I added gummy bears which gave it a sweet touch. Overall, everything was good just wish the ice cream had more of a strawberry flavor. read more

I had this place in my bookmark and never had the chance to go until the other day. Decided to come here for dessert after a late lunch. Located near Hollywood Beach You are able to make your own customization or choose from one of the the in house menu. I didn't know what I wanted so I got the Basic B, which had vanilla ice cream, plain waffle with sprinkles, whipped cream, and strawberry pocky sticks. Waffle came out warm and tasted delicious with the ice cream and whip cream. I suggest getting waffle with the whip cream, makes the waffle less dry. The chocolate one was a bit too much, chocolate waffle seems a bit dry. Maybe opt for plain waffle instead of chocolate if you do get Chocolate ice cream. One waffle ice cream cone was about $8.50. A bit expensive for one scoop of ice cream. There isn't much table seating, and seems like no public restroom for paying customers. Staff seemed nice, they were training the cashier the day I came. read more
