Only 3 machines was in use and I checked every machine and all of them was full of unused detergent from others . I kindly asked a girl behind counter reading a book and she came right over and partially flushed out 2 dubble machines and right back to her book. I needed 3 dubbles and a triple. As I was putting my dirty cloths back in bags another man loaded his cloths in the one that was flushed out and I told him about detergent but I don't believe he spoke English lol. But he knew after starting machine that suds wasn't supposed to be coming out the top. Usually they do good keeping up with machines. Not tonight. Myself I will not come back. They do have a sign that says face masks are required, but no one enforces it because each time I go, maybe 3 people out of 15 have one on. It's usually the staff. So, good on them. Though I only gave this place a 2, it's only because of the quality of the machines...not the "ambiance" that deserves a 3. Well, I drive up early in the morning, under the close scrutiny of 3 elderly ladies staring at me over the brim of their glasses. I took a deep breath and continued on...When you walk in there are lots of top loaders, and about 10 front loaders, all 1970-1980 models. SOMEBODY must be a machine repair man in the family, because those babies are the originals! But they were clean, free of someones hair, so it was fine. I got the "stare down" so much I ate my breakfast in the car. But they were NOT going to freeze me out while I waited for my clothes to dry! I picked up a dusty magazine and buried my head in it. The elderly ladies went about their folding & chatting, and after one of them left ,they chatted about her! Gossip will never ever go away. I nervously asked if one of them was the owner, and that seemed to break the ice. I got the friendly smile after I explained I am new to the area etc..etc...though this place is tucked in the corner, attached to a car wash, I'm glad I came. I felt safe, and honestly was glad there was not some Spanish speaking only network on the tv. It's not the fanciest place, but I bet it used to be the place to be...but that time has gone. I do wish I would have thought to connect a car wash to a clothes wash!! I'm sure it used to be a gold mine. Doesn't anyone sweep and dust anymore?? I remember having a business meant you took care of its appearance. Take a visit if you live in the area. It's better than alot of the other places.
