Between the two of them, they reported that they had over 40 years dealing with sprinkler systems and landscaping in general. We went over the specifics of the job and they agreed to come back to get started on the drip irrigation. I asked them to work up an estimate. They showed up and began tearing up the existing drip irrigation which consisted of "flex" pipe main lines with 1/4" tubing with emitters on the arteries. The goal was to provide better and more reliable coverage for my perennial gardens which includes several pots planted with annuals. Here is where it began to go wrong. On starting the work, I again asked for an estimate along with an itemized list of work done and left to do. I never did get those items. Instead of they would show up as sporadically and then leave an hour or so later. To be fair, this work was done in April. So weather may have contributed to their work schedule. They ended up installing PVC pipe with "riser" spray nozzles. Most of these spray nozzles are providing poor and inadequate coverage. In some areas there is too much coverage and in others none at all. Almost every time they came by to work on the project, they asked for additional money to cover materials and labor... again without ever providing the requested estimate or itemization. After more than six weeks of this type of work behavior, they finally finished the sprinkler work and were supposed to return the following week to start weekly mowing. They did not show up as promised. I had to remind them. They did come by to mow, but the end result looked like a 10 year old mowed blindfolded. I told them we were not a fit and not to return. Today I found out from a neighbor that one section of the new drip irrigation had sprung a leak causing erosion and damage to their flower bed on the other side of the fence! I have subsequently engaged another landscaper. Since working with Oasis, I have learned that the job done by them should have been completed at a cost nearly 50% less than I paid and should have been completed much quicker - even with poor weather. Use caution if you choose to work with this company.

They designed and refreshed my entire front and back yard, replacing everything but the existing…read moreboulder retaining walls. They installed a beautiful paver pathway patio with descending and ascending, large stone steps in the back yard, widened steps ascending to the front door, all new beds, foliage, sprinklers and lighting. They designed and installed a three tier water feature descending the boulder walls in the back yard that took several tries to get right. The upper falls was challenging due to its placement over boulder walls that were too steep for a skip loader to ascend, and when we couldn't determine where the water feature was losing water, they almost completely replaced or relaid the liner in order to fix it. It looks great both running and dormant. Although no job of this size is without its challenges (a paver wall they built in the wrong place and subsequently rebuilt, some details w plants I had them re-do), they went the extra mile in making everything right and were truly professionals throughout the process. I was spoiled coming from CA where I had an award winning, "design only" landscape architect work for me at my last home, so this co in Utah had big shoes to fill. I couldn't find a design only firm in Utah, Frederico did a reasonably good job. I'd recommend getting a design only firm to create plans if I could find one here, and then get several bids from landscape companies, Frederico did give me the option to just pay for the plan if I didn't want to have them do the build, plus they had room in their schedule to start my project soon after the design was complete. Honestly I don't know if I'll be completely happy with the complete design until the plants come back in the spring, I do love the hardscape, their attention to detail and the way they persevered to make everything right. This is a highly professional outfit that did a nice job.

After signing the contract, we heard nothing from them for weeks. They finally showed up unannounced at 4:00 PM. The crew did a mediocre job on roughly three-quarters of the yard, then announced they were done for the day and would return the next day to finish. While on site, the workers took multiple long breaks. The lead spent a noticeable amount of time on his phone scrolling instead of supervising or working. When I asked why they weren't working, he simply said it was hot. It was warm, but they had only been actively working for about 50 minutes when I confronted him. They had been on-site for roughly 2.5 hours total. When they left, the lead claimed they had clocked two hours. The bill later charged us for the full time the truck was at our property (via GPS tracking), regardless of whether the crew was actually working. They also stated that the return visit would have a two-hour minimum. At $195 per hour for a three-man crew, this adds up very quickly for incomplete work. The crew ultimately left several areas with visible weeds untouched. Overall, the service was unprofessional, the work quality was subpar, and the billing practices felt unfair. This company is expensive and not worth it. Save your money and look elsewhere.
