I would not recommend this company. We hired them to clear weeds from our property, but the experience was extremely frustrating and poor value for the high cost. After signing the contract, we heard nothing from them for weeks. They finally showed up unannounced at 4:00 PM. The crew did a mediocre job on roughly three-quarters of the yard, then announced they were done for the day and would return the next day to finish. While on site, the workers took multiple long breaks. The lead spent a noticeable amount of time on his phone scrolling instead of supervising or working. When I asked why they weren't working, he simply said it was hot. It was warm, but they had only been actively working for about 50 minutes when I confronted him. They had been on-site for roughly 2.5 hours total. When they left, the lead claimed they had clocked two hours. The bill later charged us for the full time the truck was at our property (via GPS tracking), regardless of whether the crew was actually working. They also stated that the return visit would have a two-hour minimum. At $195 per hour for a three-man crew, this adds up very quickly for incomplete work. The crew ultimately left several areas with visible weeds untouched. Overall, the service was unprofessional, the work quality was subpar, and the billing practices felt unfair. This company is expensive and not worth it. Save your money and look elsewhere. read more

This is my first and last year dealing with Millburn. I signed up for their bi-weekly mowing. First off, it's not bi-weekly (every other week), like you'd expect. They take weeks that start with even or odd days and that's the week you get. So sometimes you get mowed twice in two weeks, and sometimes it's three weeks in between mowings, just depends on how the calendar days fall. It's weird. But that's not deserving of one star, just annoying. I had a thriving grape vine in the backyard that they hacked down one day. Who knows why! I was out of town when it happened and called the office as soon as I got back and saw the damage. The woman I spoke to was unsurprised and unremorseful, she sounded like she dealt with this sort of thing all the time. She asked for me to email them pictures and I did. I haven't heard anything since. I've called back, but they've screened my calls and sent it to their answering service. Also, separately, I was supposed to have their sprinkler repair folks come out to replace a sprinkler head. They assured me it would either be Tuesday or Thursday and they'd let me know what day and time. Tuesday came and they had not let me know. I called them to ask - but no response. I would give 0 stars if possible. We signed up for the full service, but rarely got it. When I asked for a SPRING cleanup they did not show up until August, and at that point everything was overgrown so of course it took longer to clean up. They then refused my calls to dispute having to pay more than double the previous years costs because of their late arrival. I called for months trying to talk to the owner, but he refused to take my calls. DO NOT go with Millburn! read more

We reached out to this company and gave them every opportunity to work with them. We were excited they did weekly, yearly, clean up etc. we signed up and they told us they would start within the week. Two weeks later we called and they said sorry we don't see you in the schedule. We had to call back again -We finally got the clean up crew and they fit us in to aerate but only did half of what we asked them. The day we were promised for lawn they did not show and we had to call at 4:30. We called again and at 5:00 they sent one guy for our 1.5 acre property and he did not have the ability to bag the overgrown grass. We had to fire them. I would not recommend. read more

We loved our experience with Eric Millburn form Millburn Landscaping!!! They are busy so it can take a little to get everything started, but once they start, you're family and Eric takes care of you. We had to get a retaining wall, new fencing, concrete, grass, pavers, window wells, and a pavilion. His crew is honest and ethical, they give good advice, and did TOP-NOTCH work. I would leave a negative score if it was an option. I am writing this review to forewarn anyone who is considering using this company for their landscaping needs. I discovered Millburn Landscaping at a home show in March. I reached out to them to start a discussion about my project. In April, I got a visit to my home to start the planning phase. I was asked for a down payment to get the design phase started, prior to receiving a quote. I was told at that time the work would begin in June. By mid-May, nothing had happened. No plan had been completed, let alone any talk of when the work would begin. Another month went by. By mid-June, I still didn't have the promised landscape design plans or a quote. At the beginning of July, I submitted my first official complaint to the owner and requested to have my money returned. I got an immediate phone call, but not from the owner. After a month of waiting for their decision regarding my request, I emailed a second official complaint. By August I finally heard back that they would not be refunding my money. Their communication was horrible!! They only way I got any updates was if I pestered them. Their response time was equally horrible. The only time I ever got an immediate response was when I was issuing a complaint. I spoke to another landscaper who said there are some landscaping companies that will take your money and then never follow through and know you won't leave, because you're already out a down payment. That describes my experience with Millburn Landscaping. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to their poor communication, lack of follow-thru, broken promises, dishonesty, and bad business practices. read more
