The chapel is well-maintained by civilian & military personnel, was nicely decorated for the holiday season, and is a great place to visit if you feel the desire to attend more than the once-per-week Sunday service. The Catholic services begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday & Thursday and run for a half-hour. In addition, the Sunday service is at 11:15 a.m. Other Christian denominations also have services, but you'll have to look those up for yourself. *wink*

Love Pastor Ricardo's teaching style, always opens with painting a picture so to speak, and uses several scriptures to bring it full circle! He's a super nice guy, definitely recognizes new people as he made sure to introduce himself on our first visit. Many others reached out as well and when we came back the next week, some of those we met, remembered our names. They do communion monthly, perfect for our first visit! And last week were baptisms which was wonderful as we got to witness about 7 of the youth be baptized PTL!! It's very laid back and we love it that there's such a wide age range of brothers and sisters in the Lord there! Awesome church building with plenty of parking! While we don't have young children still wanted to check out the children's ministry area so we walked around to take a peek, boy they've got it down! Their check in system is on point! The decor of the hallway leading to the classrooms are just great with the "by the sea" theme across the board! I reached out for help and not only was non-provided to me, but they victim shamed me and made me feel like I was doing something wrong to be in a situation that I currently am. And then they made me feel as if they believed I was fraudulently requesting help claiming I hadn't provided documents, but I've never been asked to do so. I find it morally repulsive that a religious organization has the audacity to shame somebody who is in a situation that requires them to seek outside help. I find this to be an abuse of their power and position and I find it convenient that there is no governing body that overseas this committee making these decisions and they have free rain to be as corrupt as they would like. Be wary of this organization

During Covid the church provided a space for food share and became the primary location for its…read moreservices in Ojai. Volunteers continue to provide groceries to the community twice monthly and maintain a pantry for those in need. I was amazed thatthese volunteers came out to help when others shut their doors during Covid. I'm thankful for their support.
