The staff is small but Pastor Steve is awesome! I love the way God uses him, I personally like being told what I need to work on, feel the conviction and hold myself accountable. Pastor Steve doesn't sugar coat things! I love his family too, his wife Tammy is super sweet, and their kids are great that are actively involved with the church. When my sister passed suddenly I was able to call the church and talk to someone right away and they prayed for me and even sent over dinner for me and my family since I had my sister's daughters in my care. A church being that big and took the time for me, I was touched. If you want to get more involved they have ways you can serve, Bible study and training for life that will help you get a better understanding with Christianity.

Had the pleasure to stop by for a daily Mass and if I was in the area I'd be here every day. The outside and inside of the parish is serene and peaceful. I didn't walk thru the garden area near the parking lot but seemed like a perfect place to sit and let God's peace be with you. Didn't have a chance to take photos as I was captivated by the beauty of the altar and stained glass windows. It also has one of my favorite sculptures of Michelangelo's Pieta. I attended a baptism on Saturday with the ceremony preformed by the deacon in Spanish. He decided…read moreto quiz the godparents and when they didn't answered loud enough he got upset. He said they weren't really there for the blessing just to party after the ceremony. That none of them or us knew what this was about. During the step of the godparents renouncing the devil & sins, the deacon told everyone to respond because according to him , the godparents didn't know what they were doing. He lectured us angrily about not knowing the church and not being a part of it. Believe it or not I didn't go into detail while writing this. I understand he is closer to god than I but his actions were uncalled for. He turned what should have been a beautiful religious ceremony into a rude, hateful and uncalled for, lecture hour. He certainly must have turned people away from the church that day.
