And that wasn't really touching the pain from arthritis and injuries. Not to mention upper back and neck pain. It's been 3 hours since I left the office and I am a limp noodle, but my pain is nearly gone. I'm eager to see how I feel in the morning. I realize the pain will come back, but if I continue to go in routinely to have Renee work out the knots, I'm hoping to be able to reduce the ibuprofen and keep my kidneys for a while longer! I've done 1.5 hour massage sessions with ashiatsu that included the back walking and other modalities, plus reflexology, foot scrub and/or energy healing - about a 2 hour session. The control and focus that she has while doing the ashiatsu is amazing - she can focus with her feet as well as anyone can with a hand/fingers, with the additional weight/pressure. If you want a longer session, she's a little hard to book spontaneously, and her schedule is a little limited with no weekends and no Wednesdays. That said... I highly recommend giving her a try! I've booked some advance appointments now to lock in a time that works for me, and will be a regular.

She was very detailed on the areas where I needed it the most and the added bonus of the hot stones was so delicious! As a massage therapist myself, I definitely would recommend Sam. She is caring, knowledgeable and very compassionate. I also had a injured toe and she made sure to not touch it or bump it throughout the whole session.
