However, Coach Reuben taught me a lot more that I didn't know, such as pulling over and parking and the proper way to reverse, and a different way to parallel park. Later, (today) I got the road test package with Coach Tony, and I was taken through the test route and retaught everything. I got an 88% on the test and passed. Coach Tony was an exceptional teacher and really helped me pass the test, I am extremely grateful, thanks Savedrivers!

A bad First & Last…read more The instructor was late, rude, and had scammed my wife of an extra $50. My wife's Coach was Aretha. She was rude and unprofessional in her ethics. My wife had booked the appointment online and was charged $50 of the total $100. When the instructor arrived (15 mins late) her first sentences were "How are you going to pay? I only take cash." Since my wife only carries cards and no cash she had to go inside Walmart and withdraw $50. Luckily my wife is smart and thinks ahead and she withdrew $100. When my wife had given her the $50 she had stated that it's $100 for the lesson. Although we had already paid the previous $50 for the booking, Aretha had charged my wife an extra $50. Aretha had stated that the lessons range from $120 - $150. I had talked to the manager previously about getting lessons from them and all those previous times he had stated that $100 is per training session and each session is 2 hours long. Once I called him about the situation he had even told me that SHE (Aretha) shouldn't have done that because SHE (Aretha) already knew that my wife had paid the $50 booking fee. Luckily for us, the manager had refunded us the $50 that Aretha stole from my wife. My recommendation for this company, don't hire instructors that lie and steal from people. My recommendation for students or drivers that want to learn, don't go here.

Today, I was traveling North on 141 near HWY 21. This car (see pics) was on my tail in heavy…read moretraffic, then buzzed around me like I was in his way. He then continued to buzz around other cars in an offensive manner. I saw that it was a car displaying a sign for "Missouri Driving School". He was also making illegal lane changes (solid white lines). Thankfully there was no student in the car. Based on what I saw, this is not a school I would want to send my kids to learn to drive. He has no business teaching people how to drive.

I came up with the money but was unable to attend the school after all. They told me back in early July that they would refund my money; it is now early August and I have yet to see a penny of it. It had been many years since my last visit to Kitchen Conservatory, we had gone to the previous…read morelocation and had an average time but after a decade or so I decided it was time to try again. Wrong. There were two simultaneous pasta classes going. Our group seemed to have no clear direction. There were two pasta rollers and each kept malfunctioning with the handles falling off. It was at this point one couple left. It only went downhill from there. My sister kept saying we should just leave but I wanted to learn how to make pasta! And I paid a lot for this class so i was going to learn! But I did not. The revolt began and people just began cooking on their own (which in the end turned out quite well!!) just so we could eat at some point. We could hear the other class drinking wine and sitting down to eat, and our lasagna wasn't even in the oven yet. Another ominous sign. Our chef was very kind but it was clear he was not ready for this. It was my second and last visit to the KC, I walked away with no additional skills. Waste of 3.5 hours (though the class was scheduled for only 2.5) and 65 bucks.

The class wasn't exactly a cooking class but the chef gave us recipes and further demonstration when questions came up. Every dish was delicious. The store part of the place has pot, pans, kitchen gadgets, and some gourmet food items. I'm giving it a 4 because their items are on the pricier side.
