Generally a pretty good experience with Coach Harder I got the package where they take you on the driving lesson and then let you use their car for the driving test; I forget how much it ran me, maybe like around 300-400 total. There are cheaper places to get it I think but they covered the chesterfield which worked for me, circa October I would only have two pieces of advice/feedback for Coach Harder: 1. Would be better if the driving teachers left some pad in between lessons so they could do things such as use the bathroom in between students. My driving teacher was in the bathroom for ten minutes of my time during our driving lesson, and then even tried to leave ten minutes early 2. There's very little point in going into detail with student drivers about the points, and getting into the differences between which things get a demerit of one points vs. two points, and all other intricacies about the scoring system. All this does is highlight how familiar you are with the scoring system - the test taker is not going to remember anything about points. Rather than doing that, you should just in plain english be explaining which maneuvers are the most important (eg. complete stop when backing up before turning around, parking on an incline), rather than discussing the point system, something no one is going to remember during the assessment, and more importantly once they are on the road read more

My son Max had Tim as an instructor. Max found the coaching valuable. I believe kids listen to other adults in a different way than their own parents. Max passed his driving test first time around. I just recently passed my driving test, scoring a 97, thanks to their help. While it can be a little pricey if you're a terrible driver and need a ton of lessons, the upside is that you can receive a discount on your insurance, depending on the type of insurance you seek or have, so the future saving more than makes up for it. Simon Anderson saved my life! I was a junkie living under a bridge hooked on nose spray five years ago. One night I had a dream while a possum was eating my last Cheeto out of my sock. I dreamt that I needed to save up for a 97 Toyota Camry and become an Uber driver to make a living. The problem was I didn't have a license! Simon took me under his wing and taught me the art of driving. He told me to not be afraid of parallel parking and to embrace the blind old lady driving in the fast lane. He also got me off of nose spray...but that's for another day. I now live with my girlfriend Juanita who I met at the great little Mexican joint called the wet juicy taco. She wasn't sure about me at first but once she rode in the Camry it was game over. The power steering on this thing along with the cloth interior will make any woman know what they've been missing. They took him after he had just one half hour driving in a parking lot, and turned him into a careful confident driver. Absolutely, do not fork your money over to this company at ANY COST. Like the reviewer, below, this company is just interested in getting your money and not providing you the service. There are other driving schools in the area that have a much better rating and instruction schedule. Due to my personal situation, I was not able to get my license at MO. I just needed to go to another state to get my license due to some required documentation proving my residence in another state. Therefore, on the day of the test, I couldn't take the test because of the reason. When asked for a refund for their "Valet service", they flat out refused to refund the money. Clearly knowing that their client cannot take the test in the state of MO, didn't budge them to refund the client's money. The test wasn't even taken by me and I essentially got charged $160 for a pick up and drop off at my house. Think about it Yelpers, do you really want to do business with a company that refuses to even partially refund your hard earned money for a reason that was out of the client's knowledge of MO state's driving laws. Isn't it fair that if your company's car isn't used AT ALL for the road test, that you refund all or at the very least part of the money that was given to you by the student. Zero professionalism. A demonstrated lack of interest of the client objectives at heart, and to top it off an annoying and hateful attitude towards the student gives this company no credibility in my mind. Well what can I say, Roland at Coach Harder Driving school did an excellent job with our very nervous and concerned new driver.... He helped developed her confidence to the point of being a noticeably different person. He has a method in his teaching approach which allowed her to easily remember key point...... We are off now to practice the recommended 40 hours before the driving test. We plan on requesting Roland for the driving test refresher right before the test...... I want to make one other point for anyone on the fence about hiring a driving instructor, Coach Harder or not. Sure we could have easily taught our daughter to drive, but "what if" there was one little thing that I forgot or didn't teach her. God forbid something serious happens. I would alway wonder could I done something different or did I forget anything. Honestly folks, it's worth the peace mind to know my little girl (in dads eyes) was taught by professionals..... Both of my sons did lessons with Coach Harder. This was an incredibly worthwhile investment; not only did they teach them what they need to know for the driving test, they instill the importance of safe driving. My boys only had positive things to say about the experience with all of the instructors. Moreover, I felt that they were in good hands upon meeting with them prior to each lesson. My son just passed his test today; I forgot about the Coach Harder certificate, but this is valuable (an added bonus to signing up with Coach Harder) in lowering my sons' insurance premiums! read more

Coach Simon in the office is awesome! He answered all of the questions we had and helped us figure out the package that made sense for our needs. We had two instructors who were both professional and supportive of our new driver. Their COVID measures are impressive with temperature checks, mandatory masking, and car sterilization before and after each lesson plus nightly deep cleans. The test prep is definitely worth the extra money and our daughter was confident and passed on her first road test. We highly recommend Coach Harder Driving School and will be using them again when our younger children turn 15. read more

I would highly recommend this driving school, this one is the best in town after got several bad experiences with Safedriver, Archway Driving School. Jean is my teacher and he is such a professional teacher, he took notes every road I went in order to not repeat the route. He also gave me a chance driving highway and many skills in driving. It's more expensive a little bit than others but i think it's right choice. And I always prefer packages which i can learn driving constantly without time space. Help me improve quickly. read more

I recently moved to St. Louis from New York City and hadn't driven a car in 8+ years after experiencing a traumatic accident. I completely forgot how to drive and was very nervous about the thought of getting back behind the wheel... A family member recommended Coach Harder Driving school to literally get me up to speed and, while I wasn't keen on spending the money at first, I quickly learned it was WELL WORTH the investment. In just a few lessons over the course of a week, I went from not remembering how to work windshield wipers and having minor panic attacks on only slightly busy roads, to acing my behind-the-wheel exam with a perfect 100% score!! Not only were the lessons thoughtful and thorough, but I could tell the instructors (especially Coach Harder) genuinely cared about my situation and wanted to see me pass the test. As a 64 year old Brit who recently moved to this country and who was absolutely terrified of driving over here, I could not have picked a better driving school than this. Luckily, I got the recommendation from neighbours who had told me what a wonderful driving school this is. I personally cannot recommend this school highly enough. I found Coach Harder to be an outstanding instructor and there is no way I could have passed my Missouri licence test without his expert tuition. He is kind, patient and very, very knowledgeable. He always gave useful tips and he made sure my son knew exactly what to expect on the driving test. The classroom instruction was interesting and informative for my son. I was quite happy with the amount of instruction I received! The four lessons helped me feel confident enough to take my driving test right away and received a great score, which was surprising since I began the lessons feeling very nervous about driving anywhere. The instructors all gave so many tips that my family may not have remembered when teaching me. Two of the instructors were very nice and aware that I was afraid of driving at first and were quite polite and understanding. However, I will say one last instructor gave instructions rather impatiently sometimes telling me to turn at the last second and getting angry that I didn't respond quick enough. There is an annoying cancellation policy, aside from that there were a few misunderstandings in the package. Overall, this is a valuable experience that got me driving right away after four lessons, I recommend it, but also be aware that which teacher you get makes a difference in the experience you will have with the company. read more
