Healthcare everywhere is short staffed and the plasma center is no different. Some of the other donors are loud and obnoxious but maybe just sit and wait their turn. There usually is quite a long wait time from check in to screen to actually donating. Sometimes even over 3 hours. I would love to see more of the beds being used at time but I don't know what the nurse to patient ratio is allowed. Staff definitely enjoys chatting but I feel they do a good job. I only ever had a problem with one person leaving me quite a bruise from an incorrect technique. read more

You would think that this place would really want the life-saving plasma especially from the younger people because we can usually donate twice a week, no problem. NOPE, I would not waste my time with this place because any little thing you are missing in order to donate, TRUST AND BELIEVE THEY WILL BRING IT UP AND NOT LET YOU DONATE. Healthy 22 former college athlete. Ended up in the ambulance after trying to give plasma. They missed my vein, then injected 350mL saline into my arm turning my entire life arm numb, damaging the tissue and muscle for over a month. Neglecting workers, not qualified and no care for the people. Just don't don't do it here. I read the comments too until it happened to me on only my second visit. read more

Wow the people in this place have a serious attitude been here 7 times and let me say Iam glad I have changed the way I react but let start with the second experience they never mentioned that you can't be late 3min and mine you they take almost an hour to get you to the back but okay I can understand supervisor attitude the way she said no. I said Iam willing to wait longer if I have to and she said yeah No!The demeanor and voice was just crazy but I said okay no problem and understand but know my husband been there about 6 time never had a problem with the blood pressure one time and okay I understood but we went again and the same girl short with glasses chubby she looks like she is Chinese and Spanish you won't miss her did the same thing but someone else decided to check again and he was good she seems like she doesn't like her job a attitude every single time and seems like she got in trouble for that we go again and know her two little friends in the front decided to fail him and me I feel like they did something to the machine to get them numbers high like that it just seems off and I can understand if it was something wrong with us but the attitude is so noticeable that they don't like us because of the girl that got in trouble and someone needs to talk to supervisor she need a serious talk with about the way she talk to people sorry don't know her name but I am pretty sure it not hard to know who Iam talking about she's black with a big tattoo on her neck you won't miss her on being kind she don't know what people are going through some people don't mind but but me as a person that works hard for her money this not me some people already feels bad for staff to disrespect people that have no idea what they going through there other way to say no and if you as a person working in the medical field should asked if it's so bad like you say it is why not asked if they need a ambulance but not only do they not care but let say if My blood is was so high why would you want to make someone upset by talking to them like that and rolling your eyes right in my face and all I said it's cool I understand but wow when I lift that when I was like I can't believe that just happened but I can say out of mybe 7 staff we can say 2 where very respectful the young Spanish men can't miss him he is great and a woman in the front she there morning she always laughing and smiling and very respectful with short dirty blonde hair and the girl that did mine today with the attitude has black or brown with a a long narrow forehead she literally rolled her eye at me right in my face because I said I had a cold yesterday and she said one of the questions was if I didn't feel good if Iam there then I feel better why say I don't feel good if Iam okay once again the attitude is so noticeable and disrespectful for no reason but if I treated them the same they will band me but at this point I will be letting people know about my experience instead of asking would you like us to call 911 if it so bad but you giving attitude one day there going to get the wrong one like I said they don't know what people mantel state is the why they talk to people is worse then fast food its unbelievable I hope they get it together so sad that they literally treating people like that they really acting like they giving you free money that disrespect is definitely not worth it at all and another thing they trying to give people $45 dollars like I don't want to go right now for a $100 because they make you feel horrible like so mad to make someone cry and they think people going for $45 it's definitely not worth it not only you spent money getting there but setting for more then 3 hours and then for them to say yeah no I give it to the summer if nothing changes they will lose people and when other people start in counting the same problem with the staff no one wants to feel disrespected I really don't think the company is going to remain open if nothing is done if any one can let me know who I can contact about the problems in that location because this is a serious problem that can affect the business read more

I have been donating for quite awhile here, but this last time was disappointing, new girl who bragged alot about " how many sticks she can do and that she was the best at her previous place of work...I believe she needs schooled on quality and not quantity... stick hurt like he'll and then when she pulled the guard up she pulled up instead of down.... which also should not be painful but it was. I also noticed ppl who are over a half hour late are still being told it's fine we will take you.. I have more then one job so my time is valuable. The wait time this last time was 1 hour and 45 minutes.... that is unreasonable. I also notice the lack of Gail's presence and this makes my outlook bleek. I have not ever given a bad review to freedom but at this point I think I may need to take a break from donating. read more

This plasma center has made me feel some type of way today. I feel like Ive been discriminated against with their trash policies. To start off I'm in recovery, and Ive been clean since Oct 11 2019 but If you're on medications like suboxone, or methadone it's highly probable that it's gonna lead to questions about your past. I was an IV user, yet I don't carry any diseases or stds. and even though it's been since 2019, you can see my scars which the nurse was obviously looking at too. It also isn't really just about the policy, it was the way I was treated. It wasn't about what she said, it's how she said it. I felt like I was under a microscope and she was obviously judging me and treating me like I was garbage. It's 2022, I've made my mistakes, and I learned to cherish values such as honesty. So I said all that to say this; In conclusion, if you have a history as an IV user and or a past dealing with addiction and you want to donate; I suggest you lie and pretend you never walked through hell. I'm now never allowed to donate here because of my integrity. read more

My review for the plasma center on fruitville Pike. They're very unorganized people make appointments because they say you have to make an appointment and you make an appointment and you still don't get seen. I've been trying to donate for the last 3 years and I can't donate I don't know why they're making it difficult for me to donate I been going back and forth from my doctors getting documentation saying I'm allowed to donate and they still have not donated me yet it's a lot of running around and it's a headache all I want to do is donate try to help somebody and you're making it hard.Thank u!! read more

Freedom Plasma on Lititz Pike in Lancaster, Pa is truly a very enjoyable experience. Staff is so friendly and Brooklyn from this center is the most competent and friendly phlebotomist. So many people have a hard time with me because of scar tissue. Brooklyn gets it every time with no pain. Her fun and warm personality always puts me in a good mood. I highly recommend donating at this center. Great experience! read more

They are short of personnel at this time, but that does not excuse failure to answer the phone. Their phone is set up to refuse all incoming calls other than to listen to a bot detailing the basics of donation. Forget about talking to a live person unless you want to first waste your time driving to the location. When you arrive, you'll have over a two hour wait before you donate... IF you donate. After at least an hour of waiting, they'll give you a quick med review of your temperature, BP and protein levels. Fail to pass any of these tests, or to have a usable vein in each arm, and out the door you go, having wasted your time for nothing. The only reason I'm giving them more than one star is that once you do get to donate, MOST of the nurses know how to administer the procedure. I had a nurse that did so badly sticking me that I got a bruise that lasted three weeks, and wasn't allowed to donate in the meantime. That's over four hundred dollars I wasn't able to earn, and it was their fault. If you decide to take your chances with these people, all I can do is wish you the best of luck. read more

The staff is always standing around talking about other employees and patients. Molly who thinks shes in charge is the worst one. The others are rude and obnoxious. They cheat for there fellow friends but want to defer certain people. They establish new rules evry week and no one adheres to them. The bathroom is disgusting and the girls at the front act like they don't hear people when they tell them the bathroom is dirty. As for supervision they lack structure this place is a joke. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. read more
