But when we toured Paramount Senior Living and met with Starla Press, Director of Admissions and Marketing, we were immediately impressed. Starla spent an enormous amount of time patiently answering our questions and asked many, many questions about our sister and her specific needs. Then she went to the hospital the very next day to meet with our sister and talk with her directly. It was so very clear that Starla was interested in making this work for us and our sister - more than any other community that we met with!! So what makes Paramount Assisted Living so special and superior over other similar communities? It's the people. From Starla - to Olivia Perry, LPN, Resident Care Manager - to Shiryl Stanley in accounting... everyone who works there puts the patient and their family first. When I call to ask a question or discuss my sister's care, they go above and beyond to help. They also know who I am and more importantly, who my sister is and how she is doing. This is a beautiful community and my sister raves about the food!!! She looks forward to all of her meals in the dining room and rates then 5-star. My sister went from a picky, non-eater to actually starting to gain a pound! Every voicemail is the exact same message, and he has even gone as far as claiming that meetings were "scheduled and missed" when no meetings were ever arranged in the first place. The constant calls are unprofessional and it's becoming tiresome after months. At this point, it is no longer marketing -- it is harassment. I would strongly caution others before engaging with a company that ignores clear boundaries and resorts to this type of behavior.

I've gone in several times to see food and drink spilled on her clothes when she was able to feed herself. We pay a lot of money for mediocre care. Also, my husband was having his mom sign some paperwork and a nurse (Dawn) asks what it was. (Not really her business) and when he made a smart comment, she proceeded to call other family members accusing him of doing something illegal?? THEN the business office says they are reporting him for elder abuse?? He is there daily to feed and visit his mother and is her POA. This is completely unacceptable and adds more stress to a family already dealing seeing their mom declining. This is not what long term care should be like. I would recommend Bethany Village. I've have good experiences at that facility.
