There were a few interruptions during his visit where someone from the CVS pharmacy came to the door for something. I don't think the nurse should allow a patient's visit to be interrupted as it is a confidential visit. She did not apologize. The recommendations from the visit did nothing to reduce his symptoms and he was feeling much worse the next day. I ended up taking him to an urgent care. He had tonsillitis, which was not diagnosed by the nurse at the clinic.

I have had chronic pain since 2006 between my neck, back, knee, foot, and recently tendinitis in my hand for almost 2 years, I have done regular PT and even tried getting a Cortisone shot to release my pain. However, it lasted 2 months and the pain was back even worst then before. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia several months ago and recently was advised to try Aquatic therapy since the pool is 93 degrees. My first visit was beyond compassionate for my pain. I was given several laminated pool exercises after my treatment was completed. Within 3 months of going to the pool 3 times per week-1 hour each time. Not only did my pain in my hand went from a level 9 to 2. I was then able to strengthen my other joints since the water has less poundings on my joints. It was like a healing miracle happened. I am feeling so much stronger not just in my joints but in my mindset as well. Anyone who hasn't had a great experience with this hospital, perhaps you didn't give it a fair chance. My referral was sent several weeks ago, and after being told it was waiting for a doctor's review, I did not receive a decision for another three weeks. When I was finally contacted, I was informed that the referral had been denied because the testing was considered not medically necessary. While I understand that not every referral will be accepted, my biggest concern was communication. It was extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone by phone, and I spent a significant amount of time trying to reach the office for updates. The long wait times and lack of communication added unnecessary stress during an already difficult process. If you are considering this practice, be aware that you may experience delays in receiving updates and may have difficulty reaching staff by phone.
