Alas, you must be at Kathy's at five am, I learned one day at 7 am. Kathy's hired La-Z parking to make it a little more manageable at least. I don't think the nurse should allow a patient's visit to be interrupted as it is a confidential visit. She did not apologize. The recommendations from the visit did nothing to reduce his symptoms and he was feeling much worse the next day. I ended up taking him to an urgent care. He had tonsillitis, which was not diagnosed by the nurse at the clinic.

His challenges far exceed a clipboard and stickers for treatment but that's all he's gotten so far.

When I was finally contacted, I was informed that the referral had been denied because the testing was considered not medically necessary. While I understand that not every referral will be accepted, my biggest concern was communication. It was extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone by phone, and I spent a significant amount of time trying to reach the office for updates. The long wait times and lack of communication added unnecessary stress during an already difficult process. If you are considering this practice, be aware that you may experience delays in receiving updates and may have difficulty reaching staff by phone.
