My confidence in her attentiveness kept waning as her phone kept going off and her short-term memory was ineffective, asking questions that I had already answered. I wasn't impressed with her organization as papers were all over the place. In short my fee was over $500 for getting treated like a jerk. I am not coming anywhere near another H & R Block again.

We were looking for a secondary bank in Midland since we just relocated here. I read a lot of bad reviews about Wells Fargo banks around the area, but decided that they were a major national brand and one that could work no matter where we were. We went in to open the account and waited about 30 minutes. There were three people in front of us and two people working with customers (other than the regular tellers). We signed in and waited. When it was finally our turn, the lady who helped us was super helpful and got us completely taken care of. Including the wait, it took about an hour to open the account, but it was painless when we got started. The lady was also helpful, offering ideas for places around Midland to eat, get our hair cut and more (we asked, it wasn't just thrown out there). Very happy there. I read horror stories from branches around Midland when it comes to waiting in drive thru lanes. I made my first deposit yesterday morning and was in and out in a matter of minutes. Just as quick as any other bank I have used. Very friendly teller too. Finally, I love the extras like seeing balances through text messages and depositing checks through a phone app. I am very happy with Wells Fargo so far.
