Very amateurish. I bought a car insurance policy with them and they contacted me later saying I needed to submit four photos of the car plus a picture of the odometer, which I did. Long story short, the policy ended up lapsing because they bungled it. I ended up paying hundreds of dollars for essentially no coverage. read more

I have went to freeway insurance in Moreno Valley for three years for my auto insurance needs. This year I wanted to add a vehicle to my existing policy. I called the number listed and spoke with a person in the Palms Springs/Desert location. She contacted National General and gave me the specifics of what it would cost to add the vehicle and continue my policy. My existing payment for two vehicles was $169 a month and I remember paying close to $400 to start it up October of 2019. She told me that my next payment after adding the vehicle would be $264 and each month after $221. Reluctantly, I went to the store to finish up the process. When I spoke to Andrea (initially completed my policy last year), she told me it would be $100 service fee in additional to what Natasha told me. I felt that was not fair due to me being a current customer and doing all the foot work myself by phone for hours. She called over her manager and she offered to lower the fee to $50. I almost paid it but I left and decided to call the insurance company myself. National General re-instated my policy for the two vehicles and added the additional one for pennies. My next payment was $184 ($15 more than my monthly payment) on my regular date and each reoccurring monthly payment for the next 11 months is now $161, which is $8 less than it was with the two vehicles. Sometimes doing things yourself pays off. It did for me. This took less than ten minutes!!!! When you feel like your being ripped off, you probably are. I saved $100 for a service fee + $52 a month times 12 months= $624 and the first month differential was $80. I saved $804 of my hard working money!!! read more

At first they were very helpful and nice, but once I went in to cancel my car insurance with them they continued to take out the money from my account for the months after my cancellation. I called and went in to them to try and fix the problem and have the money reimbursed and they said it would be put back into my account within 11 days. It had been a month passing and still nothing. Really bad customer service first time here and it was horrible. As you walk in, there's a signing list, and there was one customer ahead us, so we waited for almost 20 minutes. And some random guy, just shows up. And just yells out "I'm here to make a payment". He seemed really comfortable to just come inside and yell it out. But it seemed odd how Immediately the girl that was helping out the other guest, run to him, and told him to give her the money for the payment. First all, I don't care how many years you been a customer with a company, you shouldn't have priority for anyone. Specially when you don't know if you have new customers. That to me it's ridiculous. If he was there to make the payment, he should of sign in like everyone else. And wait for his turn, clearly the signing sheet had an option of "I'm here to make a payment". Second, the sells representative Jenny M. was just overall rude, when she was helping me out, she got a random phone call from her mom. Like Who answers calls, when you're helping out someone at work. Clearly that's one unprofessional. And last, you shouldn't be texting after you just hung up on the person who call you. Texting isn't any better of a choice. Update: customer service reach out to me, and were really helpful. I want to give a special thank you, to Miguel who took the time to addressed my problem. I had the same problem as previous yelper Mark. I called Thursday & they gave me an 85 dollar quote for 3 cars & then asked me to come in Friday morning at 8am. I go in & the girl is completely flustered, entering all of my information AGAIN & came up with a quote of 242 a month with 800 down. I'm not even kidding you. She said it was because of a previous accident on my record & a point on my record for a speeding ticket. I'm pissed that the girl I talked to on the phone didn't even ask about all of that. They completed wasted my time & don't think anybody should ever go in there. read more

If i could i would give this place a negative score I would but i put the highest stars so that it would be at the top of the reviews so that people would be warned of the horrible service. I had the worst experience with Erlene or Arlene Trinidad, my boyfriend and I went in to get his SR22 on Saturday which ended up being more expensive than the quote i was given over the phone . I was told that it would be $50 and then $26 a month and no hidden fees but then when we went in there were more fees including a $140 fee more than we were expecting so we got an extension to pay that unexpected fee in 2 weeks not knowing that that was actually her broker fee and that was the money going towards herself for scanning some papers and filling information on the computer for us. We were never told what the fees were or what we were signing. We cancelled the premium a couple days later and tried getting our money back because we didnt end up needing the sr22 only to be told that we would get no refund and we still owed the $140 because that was her fee. This is outrageous and we have yet been another customer that was taken advantage of. I will be sure to warn everyone of this place and to never go in. read more

Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with! Every time I call I am on hold for at least 20 minutes. Sometimes I need to hang up and try again because after awhile the system just hangs up on you. Then you are often greeted with attitude and asked if you can be put on hold for another 3 minutes (surprise it's usually 7). I have been hung up on by an actual person before and got the same person again and they said I was mistaken. This is after several occurrences not just one bad time. read more
