This hosting company should be avoided
I purchased a shared server space from them along with an ssl seal
It took almost a year of faxes and more to get the ssl seal activated and even then it was a seal that warns users that my site contains insecure items in the navigation bar even though i paid for verification and a trust seal
Secondly, I have had outages of up to 3 months accompanied by data loss and data corruption making it near impossible to back up or migrate emails or web files.
At the end of it all, I had to go to another supplier.
6 monthss on, freezone continue to pass me from pillar to post and refuse to unlock the dns and also organise a seam free transition.
I am aggreived. This company instead of organising to move my domains as requested on a 3 month notice to terminate, they instead keep sending mails asking me to mail the problem clearly and then stop responding and have resorted to asking me to pay for the hosting that I asked to terminate.
Their email back up tools and several database and data driven aspects of the server have left me with database driven add ons that vanished from the server.
I would warnanyone to give them a miss.
I paid their cossts which were higher than most because they are uk based and all seemed well.
To my surprise, the service fell very short, many outages, I found that instead of being able to host a domain from them on any server i wish i was stuck. To allocate dns for my domains, I have to email their support,, call to verify and wait for almost 3 days.
I bought a new server, my domains on thier server were all blocked all 12 with 46 emails.
They are now saying they want almost £400 from me to relinquish my domains after nearly 6 months of waiting for them to unlock the nameserverss and hosting locks.
I absorbed the cost which was high for shared server space, but they never finish any follow up they promise to follow, they just fob you off and pass you around. i paid their high fees beleiving that it was reflective of a good service.
It is a very poor service
They even got audacious enough to try sell me more expensive server space saying i needed a different server on their platform to avoid all the glitches and blotches.
Dont use them, they put my business, businesss reputation and client reelationships at risk repeatedly by outing client websites and waiting for me to call, agreeing to unblock then agreeing to sort my transfer, but botching it all up.v read more
