He gave a fair price, so I asked if he could do some additional work. They skillfully trimmed 8 feet off of a 20 foot tall unruly hedge, alongside the street and a gully on the edge of my property. Today they came and removed a 120 foot tall Douglas Fir tree that was leaning precariously, due to roots that had found their way above ground and rotted. The only thing holding it up was a large tree on the other side of the driveway, that the top of this tree was now leaning on. It was a complicated job to be sure. Corresponded with me through texts including giving me a quote for the job which I found to be a great value. He arrived on time and safely cut down and removed a 30-foot-tall tree in the front yard and he and his son cleaned up the lawn, sidewalk, and street. No mess at all left behind. On the second job two weeks later, he came alone, followed my request to trim off the lower branches of four large trees in the back yard. There were a LOT of branches! These would surely be on the lawn in the next ice storm! And just like last time, these branches don't rebound. This was disaster prevention. He hauled away all the branches off the lawn, then raked the entire length of the 63 feet long by 8 feet deep bed underneath the trees! I did NOT expect that kind of cleanup!
