The coffee and pastries were delightful and the place was comfortable to relax a while. It was a cool damp day when we visited and the off shore wind whipped around the streets. The French while not usually too surly do act aloof. It's hard to find any craic or banter in cafes, perhaps it's because we don't have much of the language but delicious pastry avoid coffee make them worth tolerating at least for a brief while.
