The clothes here are nothing you haven't seen before but the store still provides the possibility of walking away quite happily with a brand new purchase. With racks organised by hue, it's easy to browse fast fashion labels like Minkpink, Ladakh, Wish, Cooper St and the like and find something to take home with you. After browsing through their selection of tops, dresses and skirts, I was pretty sure that the quality isn't amazing but every now and then one just needs a t-shirt for $10, for whatever reason. And I found that at those prices, most of their clothes still looked nice and decent. Of course you'll still find a couple of tacky or ugly items, but overall it's ten times better than other shops of that sort. If you want another option to cheap stores like Target, K-mart or Cotton On, it's worth having a look here. I especially recommend it for basic t-shirts.

The problem is that there isn't anything above $40 in here, and so you pick up a million things and suddenly you realise how much money you are possibly going to spend and it's too much to process so you put it all back slightly more roughly than you need to... you could get a whole wardrobe in here if you needed, there is everything, shirts, t shirts, office wear, evening wear, summer dresses etc. I think they may even house shoes... it's just that the quality of clothing is pretty low, the kind that may just fall apart while you're wearing it, this has happened to me before and it's not comfortable.

I came here to collect some items that the Rundle Mall store were out of, and the sales assistant was very friendly and knew who I was because the other store had primed him up, this all near the end of a long Saturday. It is great to see that the staff culture at Rundle Mall is not just a fluke, but seems to be across all their sites. As I have remarked in my review of their Rundle Mall store, their range is well made and classically cut ensuring that the pieces are good value. I am definitely a convert to their brand.

A sexy girl in a sexy dress is a certainty to be spotted at least once in a visit to Rundle Mall, Adelaide. Come here on any given weekday and you'll believe me. It's only a matter of time before you suddenly turn your head towards that girl's direction...I remember an American businessman friend of mine that told me, "When I visited Australia for the first time, and I saw how beautiful Aussie women were, I knew it was highly likely that I could get into trouble. And I'm married." This isn't an understatement. I've fallen victim to the lure of Aussie women several times before. I especially loved the music that was playing. It's hard not to like a store when they have a playlist of a Sade song, followed by 'World Tour' by 'A Tribe Called Quest'. Frilly at the top, and skimpy and tight around the waist and legs. The prices are higher than usual, and you can get far classier dresses for a lower price. Miss Gladys Sym Choon still deserves a lot of credit for its designs from the Malaysian designer. Although designs can be simple and of one bright colour (my top two colours from this store are bright red or metallic black), there are other items on offer, and you've gotta appreciate that they've allocated a generous section for menswear too. Though not the best on prices, Miss Gladys Sym Choon do dresses very, very well. It was funny, because once I asked the shop assistant for a sexy dress, he was on fire and picked out five different colours without any hesitation! The other girls downstairs saw what was happening and they laughed when I said, "She's tryin', I'm buyin!'" LOL For those of us blokes who randomly suddenly get a testosterone hit while shopping, Miss Gladys Sym Choon will cause your jaws to drop. Thank you so much. The best way to end my day. Mint also sells some wonderful basic tops, perfect for layering and teaming with a print jacket or a big warm cardi. Staff here vary in service skills from outstanding, to overly attentive, to no attention paid whatsoever but most are happy to give advice and order in extra sizes or styles. The accessory and shoe collection here is limited but there are a few nice pieces and you'd be able to pick up some nice small presents in-store. With a bit more variety in style, I wouldn't be venturing into town for clothes anymore!
