i recently visited this shop to get 4 new tyres and was really impressed with the service i…read morereceived. there was plenty of staff there and i only had a small wait before something was able to see to me. they were very busy but was able to look up the tyres on the computer and order them for a time suitable for me. When i returned the tyres were changed quickly and the staff even drove my car in for me (im abit of a wimp when driving in small spaces!). The prices were alot cheaper than i expected. The only negative i could find was that the car park was small considering the amount of business they hve.

On an obviously very busy Friday afternoon. I was informed that it may take until the next Wednesday before the car could be assessed. By the next Wednesday, the car had been assessed (I suspect an engineer stayed late for this), the sizable part had been ordered, received and fitted. Communication was excellent,staring on Monday morning.I collected the car that afternoon, it had been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. I'd been using the car as a mobile skip as attics, sheds and gardens needed to be cleared out prior to moving house, so the vehicle was in bit of a state. Some moss was growing in places. I highly recommend Central Garages, the staff went above and beyond assessing and completing an unexpected job added to a full schedule. Many thank to Central Garages, Lichfield. As I am moving near the Lichfield area, my family will be using your services for all out motoring needs in the future. Also thanks for the Christmas bar of chocolate! This is a MOT and service centre that also sells a small amount of cars. I've bought my last 2…read moresecond hand cars from them in the last 7 or so year. One car eventually died, but the other one is still going strong. I also take my car here to be serviced and for the MOT. When work has had to be done on the car it is always done to a good standard and the prices are always agreed in advance, so there are no surprises when the bills comes! This place is busy, so it's not always possible to drop by and get the work done there and then - even if it's a minor job. Having said that, if you pop in or call you can normally arrange a time for either later that day, or at worst for later that week. I recommend this place if you need an old car looked after.

I find them very reliable, prices are reasonable and I never get charged for any unnecessary work - in fact they're usually much cheaper than my Peugeot garage, and less likely to tell me that I need expensive new parts.
