So this place was an exciting find as our first stop on this adventure even though I've never appreciated any antiques before. The store is much bigger than I anticipated and has so many corners branching off to an array of eye boggling gems all very well displayed in a marvellously organised chaos. I was not raised in the US but I can see bits of my childhood in England in quite a number of items. There are endless cool stuff, from retro kitchenwares to toys, furnitures, gardening gadgets, and even clothes! Prices are surprisingly reasonable too! There were a couple of pieces of furnitures we especially loved but they were marked as "sold" so I guess we need to drop by and take a gander at new inventory every once in while. If you love antiques, or even if you don't love antiques like me but curious to just browse, this is the place to head to. The husband picked up a couple of LPs and he was pretty chuffed! You can easily lose an hour or two just leafing through their eclectic collections. I wasn't going to yelp about it initially and only took one picture of a display I found interesting. So I guess that's all I have to boast about my visit this time ^_^

LOVE this monthly sale of antiques and collectibles!…read more I have found Victorian hatpins, WWII medals, Schafer & Vater whiskey flasks, Civil War letters, and elk horn chandeliers here over the years. (Well, plus much, MUCH more!) I'm especially fond of the Red Wing cookie jar that I found for my dad here a couple of months back -- it's just like the one he grew up with and then accidentally broke in a move back in the late Eighties. (And yes, it tickled him to receive it as a gift so many years later.) The parking is good, but not exactly what I'd call generous. (I don't remember the last time that I was unable to find a parking space within twenty steps of the door, though, so no big whoop.) The warehouse is owned and operated by a small cooperative of local dealers, and the selection is both diverse and fun. Five Yelp stars!

This is a store with genuine antiques and vintage items, none of that painted furniture or country chic decor that many other "antique" places have. I hung out with Mike for a while yesterday, learning more about his great little shop in the Plaza…read moredistrict. I love that this is never the same store twice, because Mike is out searching for pieces almost as many hours per week as the store is open. Specializing in mid-century furniture and kitchenware, you'll also find lots of cool ashtrays, paintings, lamps, and home decor items. He also finds a lot of classic stereo cabinet, which can still be used. We ended up purchasing two side tables. They were in great shape, and have a lot more character than anything we would have found down on furniture row. We also got a cool old pull-down, schoolhouse-style map of South America. Since Mr K lived in Paraguay and I lived in Brasil, I think that's a cool addition to the study. I'm a fan. I'm sure this is the first of many things I'll be purchasing from Mike over the years. He posts photos to their facebook page as he makes new finds, and he will also offer to stay on the lookout for something he knows you're looking for. I can't wait to see what he finds next! Note: If you're there during business hours and the shop is not open for some reason, please call the number on the sign. He may be at an estate sale or at a private in-home appointment, but if you're there and he's not, just give him a call and he'll be back. He really does work hard to be there during regular hours. If he's not, it's a fluke.

I love treasure hunting here and they always have new stuff every time I stop by. I also follow them on Facebook and Instagram and I LOVE they post new pictures almost daily of different stuff they have. I can't even count how many times I've spotted something on their Facebook page and had to hurry in to buy it! I think that's such a great way to promote vintage and antique sales. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Definitely check them out if you're in the Midwest City, OK area!

I saw a lot of cute bags, real precious metal jewelry, kitchen utensils, furniture, clothing, and shoes. Great place to shop at if you're looking for something different and out of the ordinary.

So we ultimately sat in the wrong two and then had to move. The drinks were expensive but that was because the bartenders poured doubles and charged for doubles without asking if I wanted doubles. The bartenders were friendly. The staff was friendly, just wasn't very knowledgeable.

This is the centerpiece for the summer solstice festival along with many other things going on in…read moreokc. They have a large upstairs venue available for concerts, dances, weddings or any other gathering. The downstairs area was full of venders and all around the outside (actually in the building)are local resale and antique shops. It's open even if there isn't anything special going on. At one point they even hosted boxing matches and the local tough man competition.
