Excellent store. very clean and well organized. Great customer service too as always with their products

I had a very disappointing experience at Fresco yesterday (04/08/26). The manager--a short, heavyset woman--was extremely rude and unprofessional. I went to the counter to purchase lottery tickets, and she simply looked at me and walked away without saying a word. Shortly after, another employee came out with a cash tray but moved to assist other lines, completely ignoring me. I was left standing there at the counter, waiting while my wife continued shopping, and no one ever acknowledged or helped me. It was frustrating and disrespectful. This place used to be great--I've even given it 5 stars in the past--but based on this experience, it's no longer worth it. Customer service has clearly gone downhill. read more

This store should close. Where do I begin? From the service, the staff, the managers and the products, it is absolutely horrible!!! Most of the items they have in the store are expired or have mold. The staff members are not pleasant, they never greet you they never smile. They always look miserable!!! Please close your doors or change management and all the employees. Also hire more people so they can throw away the food with mold and expired items. I had a family member that almost ended up in the hospital sick from one of your expired products. You guys deserve a minus zero!!! I truly hope a top management for this company reads this review, because this is a serious issue that's going on in the store. read more

This store cannot possibly be connected with the Winn Dixie Co. If so there is a great disconnect. The service is Awful in Fresco y Mas. No customer service. I went shopping to Fresco y mas located in 1630 W 49th St yesterday and although the store was clean, organized and well stocked, the customer service was terrible, I went to the cafeteria and after waiting like 10 minutes and like 3 0r 4 women working in the deli and the bakery department, no one asked me what I wanted, I approached one of the employees and asked if there was someone working in the cafeteria and she mumbled something while turning her back and I asked her again is the cafeteria closed? to no avail she continued walking without saying another word, I observed employees talking among themselves without taking care of customers, the cashier in charge of the self-checkouts was conversing in her cellphone, I had to call her for help. wow I won't be shopping there in the future read more

Fresco y más is a place where you don't want to go particularly the one located at 541 West 49th in Hialeah. I was usually doing my shopping at this location but no any more because the lack of good customer service of the employees they don really care about serving you with respect. This place is not clean and well organized much of the time inside and outside looks like a real BASURERO, a lot of garbaje and no even the managers care. What a difference years ago when that place was Winn Dixie now is bad to shopping and no body cares what a shame! read more

I am extremely surprised with this place, I am an avid Publix shopper and have always been since Winn Dixies quality started to go down. So I rolled into this supermarket on a Sunday night for a late night grocery run, Publix was closed and upon a quick search of a local supermarket that was open I found that this place is open till midnight on a Sunday of all days, WOW. Once I entered the store I was simply amazed, it was fully stocked with everything. No long lines like you would find at your local Walmart on a Sunday night and the prices were less than that of Publix which amazed me because it's usually a give and take on price and quality in supermarkets but here I found both. Very impressed and will be coming back. read more

I like this grocery store mainly for their BOGO deals and fuel perks program (love saving a lil on gas just for doing groceries, which is already a necessity). It's normally nicely stocked and organized. read more

There is this one employe, I believe her name is Peggy M, going from her name tag she's the Deli Manager, I can't stress it enough how wonderful and amazing she is. By far the best employee and i've been going there for about 4 years. She's extremely helpful and always making sure everyone is attended to, not only that but shes always informing me about the best pricing deals and looking out for her costumers, she deserves everything and more genuinely sweet woman! read more

Again Fresco put a special on the front page and they were out of merchandise. They over charged $1.78/lb. for jalapeño peppers which were $148/lb. Only one cashier open, everyone in line complaining. All this in one visit. read more

Fresco y Mas @ 1201 E 10th Ave, Hialeah, FL 33010 haves a terrible customer service. To get to a manager takes forever. Their self serve registers are suppost to admit carts with a max of 20 items and they don't keep track of that; takes "forever" to leave the place 'cause of this. Prices aren't cheap and to top it off one can't take back packs with one, unless one takes another 10 minutes having then at customer service... The only good comment I can make is that their Cuban & Puerto Rican bread is excellent. read more

Not a fan of Winn Dixie, but had to stop for milk, and this was on the way. Middle of the afternoon and only two cashiers open. There were lines of 4-5 people on each and yet, no other personnel was called to assist. There was even a group of chairs talking at one of the un open stations. Never returning. read more

Fairly well stocked but, on an afternoon with lots of customers, only two registers running (and one with no bagging help)- with a manager standing 10 feet away watching, instead if jumping in to help! Things have improved. I like their $1 section. Their shea& cocoa butter liquid hand soap is amazing. Smells wonderful and it only costs $1! We only buy certain items here and their associates have improved their customer service skills. Just be careful because sometimes the price that is advertised in their weekly ad does not match the price at checkout. We will continue to shop here. read more

Terrible place. Fresco y Mas is a Winn-Dixie "hispanic brand." And they've missed the mark. The place has zero organization or leadership. Staff is just talking and taking their time doing whatever they want. Most products are low quality and generic, but with higher prices. I bought frozen foods and could tell that the freezers had obviously lost temperature and then re-froze everything. All the frozen foods had freezer burn and loss consistency. I almost bought ice cream, until I notice by handing the container that it was melted. Left it the freezer like that, it will turn into a block of ice and somebody will buy it. I noticed products with expired dates still on the shelves. I can go on and on...but....you should honestly go see for yourself.....this place is awful. read more

I will never return to that store # 239. I have been a client of that establishment for more than 30 years. I have had people who have treated me there for more than 15 years. His cashiers have been part of the family that attended the funeral of my father who loved the store since its opening. They themselves have signed a common story with the family watching some be born, others grow and others leave. It has always been gratifying to ask about your children or your old ones when making the purchase. Unfortunately there are no longer the managers who founded the store and established coexistence with their neighbors, the new ones will be full of good intentions but there is still a lot left and the transition from Winn Dixie to Fresco and Mas has been a hard birth where we have all suffered and we have had to endure ineptitude or see children in positions that they are not yet ready for. Just one of those young cashiers has come out shouting behind me at the astonished gaze of everyone accusing me of carrying a $ 2.98 unpaid water package. Wrong decision as I went to the customer service desk if I was in my tickect. I have endured the transition from a neighborhood pride store to a super populist store where nobody cares about anything. But, all right, I believe in human improvement and second chances but what I'm not going to endure is that Nicolas, a cashier who wasn't born when I already bought at store # 239 yelled at me in the store in front of everyone My neighbors, I'm stealing something when that's not true. I do not return to that store because of shame and honor. I will not make this a media show (something very simple for me) out of respect for those Winn Dixie employees who have remained there for years. I MISS WINN DIXIE!! This location use to be GREAT as Winn Dixie, but ever since the change, its horrible. Ive walked out over 3 times after standing in line for OVER 30 mintues. Im not sure if its the staff, the new pull of customers, or a mixture of the two... but this place is a total waste of time 9 out of 10 times. I like going to this fresco because it is not packed crazy, you can do your grocery shopping at ease in a tranquil environment. I enjoy shopping here because products are good, prices are good and they have little shopping carts for kids which my daughter LOVES because she acts like her mommy and go around with her little cart shopping for what we need. So for me it is a win-win situatiogn, I shop for groceries but make it a fun experience to share with my young one. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean and organized. read more

Avoid this Winn Dixie. There's this weird lingering smell, everything is either expired or close to expiring, and we found some refrigerated cheese wraps that had MOLD growing on them! There was only one package that didn't seem to have mold but we didn't even want to buy it anymore at that point because we were disgusted. Also saw packages of sausage and bacon that had freezer burn? I have no idea, but I'm never coming here again. read more

DO NOT buy any meat here!!! Meat was a complete elastic!!! Really bad quality meat. Totally different than what Winn dixie sold.

Gross. Smells of rotten food. I would never buy anything in need of refrigeration or let alone any beef from this place. I am newly addicted to a particular yogurt and figured it would be cheaper here than in Publix. Was I wrong, it was .28 cents more expensive than Publix's regular price. I purchased a bottle of Diet Coke, when I got home it was flat and tasted like dirt. This place is nasty, stay away. read more
